Collection (or Collection 2000 as they were once known) was I think the first brand I bought a makeup item from. The item in question was a sheer, sparkly light pink lip gloss that smelt of candyfloss so all in all I was a happy 10-ish old. I may even still have it laying around somewhere in an old makeup bag (don't worry I don't use it). Between that moment and now my tastes have luckily/considerably changed so whilst I may not go to their stand at Boots for a product like that mentioned above, I have been introduced to others that have become firm favourites of mine, and for a very reasonable price too...
Lasting Perfection Concealer - Probably the most talked/raved about product in the online beauty community of. all time. I used to have the shade Medium 2, but then they confusingly changed their labelling all about so I'm now Cool Medium 2 (there's also a Warm Medium but to be honest I couldn't spot much difference between them - bad beauty blogger). I won't ramble on about this product for too long as I'm pretty sure that all that I'd say would be anything that's been said before. In summary, it. is. fab. Think an good all-rounder concealer at a drugstore pricepoint, with good coverage that can be either built up for blemishes or toned down for under the eye, and a finish that isn't too matte or too dewy and a good lasting power - and you've got this.
Supersize Mascara - Another favourite of mine from the brand would probably be their mascaras in general. When I first got properly into makeup and of course had a very limited budget of £5 a week pocket money (considering there was other things I wanted/needed to buy as well) I opted for this mascara and oh my goodness it was brilliant. I even remember being at a party and my friend asking me if I had false lashes on because my lashes looked so good. I think that mascara retails for around £2.99 - bargain. Since that discovery I've also had dealings with various others such as the Skyscraper one - brilliant for length (and I also think is now unavailable - boo), and their 'No Clumps' - which does what it says on the tin perfectly. Again, if I'm ever in any doubt of a new mascara to try, I'll go back to Collection.
'Hot Looks' Nail Polishes - I guess I also have to give a mention to their nail offerings. I remember when I first got into the whole makeup thing (I did tell ya this would be a brand of nostalgia) the first nail polish I think I ever bought was one from their 'Hot Looks' range or something along those lines. I've just looked and I believe the range has now been discontinued but I remember being a massive fan of it back in the day.
Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencils - A more recent find, and one that are quite nice for if you're on a budget. A cream eyeshadow in stick form, these make for an easy on-the-go eyelid option on their own or, if you've more time/skill/patience, could be used as a base for other powder products to be layered on top. I personally love using the pink as an all-over jobby and the creamy white as a nice inner corner highlighter to really brighten your eyes up when you may not have had a full 8 hours.
Shimmer Shades Compacts - I have both 'Blushalicious' and 'Way to Glow' in these and enjoy both for when I need a quick option for either blush or bronzer. A product housing four shades in the space of one, the blush one has two fab pink shades depending on your bravery, and a more reddy toned pigment and a coral for when you're really feeling brave. The bronze one I slightly prefer, as it holds three bronze shades (all shimmer - as the name implies - so not subtle contouring to be had here) and a nice, subtle, everyday appropriate highlighter. Buy both compacts and you're basically covered face-wise.
Collection have some great products, I like the sound of the Shimmer Shades! My favourite is probably their liquid liner, it's so easy to use and it's only £2.99 :) xx

They really do! Such good quality and so affordable! Do you mean their Fast Stroke? I remember using that when I first got into liquid liner, was so good! X
