A Cheeky Feel Unique Haul...

A while back Feel Unique emailed me saying how they had a sale on for the Bank Holiday - I was tempted. A few days later they emailed me again with a code for an extra 10% off - and I think you can guess what happened next.

Yes, I went there. I had a little browse, adding items to my basket as I went along and before I knew it £20 had somehow flown out of my bank account. About a week later (I'm looking at you Bank Holiday shipping times) and a small but mighty Feel Unique package arrived on my doorstep. What had I chosen I hear you ask? Well, sit back as I offload my shopping guilt. Sharing's caring, after all...

For a while now I've been hoarding what now appears to be pretty much the entire Real Techniques brush collection. What can I say? They're just so good, it's hard to resist buying another. I started with the three main kits, and I am now slowly but surely working my way through the individual brushes, with this being one of the last I need/want to add. Introducing - the Stippling Brush. For what seems like the longest of times I've been umming and ahhing over whether or not to get this brush. The main reason for my doubt being just what was it used for? The others were pretty self explanatory, but role would this brush play? After all, already being the proud owner of the Expert Face and the Buffing brush, I'd figured I was pretty much sorted in the face base category and I surely didn't need another to look lovingly at clutter up my makeup brush pot. In the end, I resolved that I was being a bit hasty and I can only truly know if this brush will become a new fave if I actually give it a try first. So I did it. This may be a new love, it may be a new leave, but hey, at least I've given it a whirl.

Now for the last two items of this haul (see what I mean when I said it was small?) please excuse my massive lateness to an already well-saturated party. The Tanya Burr Lipgloss and Nail Collection has to be by far one of the most highly anticipated and hyped-up launches of this year so far. With Tanya being one of YouTube's most popular and instantly recognisable faces, it was always bound to be. With her collection first making its way onto shelves and online back in January, I have only now decided to take the plunge and see just what everyone else is making a fuss about. I opted for two of her lipglosses as opposed to trying the nail polishes as I found these to be the most exciting for me personally out of the two. I do love a good lipgloss and go by a very well put together specification - high shine, but not sticky, and fairly long-lasting. I'm hoping they'll live up to the high expectations and I will most certainly be keeping you informed!
