I am fully aware of the fact that this polish (and the whole launch in general of which it was a part of) was released back in Summer last year, but honestly, I have no shame in admitting the fact that I am lacquering up my nails with it now, mid-January. While we may be in the depths of Winter at the moment - with cold weather and dull skies galore - there's just something incredibly appealing about a bright nail polish to perk things up a little. And this one is exactly that...
As I said, this lacquer from Barry M was first launched, Limited Edition, as part of the brand's Summer 2016 range. It was one of two polishes made available exclusively in Superdrug for the season and while it is indeed an ideal pick for the warmer months, I couldn't help but gravitate towards it now too. This is a super bright, girly pink with light gold shimmer running through it - isn't it just so pretty? The blue undertone makes it very Barbie-esque and is something kinda different to the types of pinky tones I usually go for, but I really rather like it anyway. As always, the consistency is super smooth and easy to apply and goes on fully opaque and shiny in two coats and as I said - the colour is just beaut. What's not to love, eh?
