Do-It-Yourself Sheet Masks?

I love a good face mask and especially over the last couple of years or so, I especially really enjoy a good sheet mask! Probably the most quick and easy face mask 'variety' you can get - simply take it out from the packet, unwrap and smooth onto your face. Leave for as long as you want, remove and your skin will no doubt be left feeling and looking so super lovely afterwards! I've tried a fair few over time and I have to admit Garnier has to be one of my favourite brands. Affordable, yet amazing quality that delivers equally-amazing results too. So, when I spotted their brand new Fresh-Mix Tissue Masks - I knew I had to give them a go...

As you may be able to guess from the name, unlike their typical tissue masks that you simply remove and apply straight away, with this range things are a little different. With these, you get one packet, that's split into two compartments - one containing the dry face mask and one with all of the liquid goodness inside. Whenever you decide to use it, you simply fold the packet into three and squeeze the liquid chamber so it mixes into the dry tissue mask, leave for a minute to ensure it's soaked in slightly and you're good to go! Basically, it's like buying a 'ready-made' tissue mask - but you do it yourself and it's super fresh! I love the whole concept of this. In terms of using it, I wouldn't necessarily say it's any more 'juicy' than a regular tissue mask (I always find those to be really well saturated anyway) but I do like the whole idea that all of the skincare goodness has just been freshly mixed in and you know you're really getting as much of the benefits of it that you can! I've only used the Vitamin C so far, but I was really impressed. Pretty easy to get the hang of using it, it fitted and stayed in place on my face rather well (considering it's a tissue mask and they're notoriously bad for that) and not only felt so nice and cooling on my skin throughout - made my skin feel and look so lovely afterwards! I massaged any excess left over on my skin after removing - which also felt pretty nice too - and it really did deeply hydrate my skin and make it look far brighter and glowy! For the rest of the day, my skin felt super nourished, soft and smooth and I would definitely say that it stayed that way for a while afterwards too. I can't wait to give the other Hyaluronic variation a go next!
