Autumn Nail Polish Picks...

It's not Autumn without a great autumnal nail polish - and as has kinda become a tradition round these parts - I thought it was fitting for me to give you all a run-down of some of my favourites. As I said, I do this style of post pretty much yearly, but over time my collection of course changes - with some polishes being decluttered and others being added in - so let's take a closer look at my top picks for my tips for Autumn 2019. Interestingly, all of them are from good ol' Barry M (definitely one of my go-to nail polish brands) and they're all creme formulas/finishes too - maybe I'll have to do another edition focusing more on favourite Autumnal shimmery/glittery/metallic lacquers too?

BARRY M COCONUT INFUSION NAIL PAINT IN 'POPSICLE' - Starting off with the only polish here not from their infamous Gelly Hi-Shine range, this lacquer instead comes from the Coconut Infusion family! Basically the same super shiny, gel-like finish - just with supposedly a more hydrating, easy-on-the-nails formula. And this colour just screams 'Autumn' - a rich, deep (but not too deep) raspberry pink. The perfect berry nail colour! It's fully opaque in two coats too, which can be hard to come by when it comes to such intense shades like this...

BARRY M GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINT IN 'GINGER' - As for the Gelly's, we start off with this stunning, rich, burnt orange hue. If this nail colour isn't just made for Autumn, I don't know what is. Again, it's deep and intense but still not too dark and overpowering of a colour - which is awesome - and it's perhaps a bit of a different shade/tone to what you may be used to wearing too. However, don't be scared as it's actually super gorgeous and very flattering on the nails!

BARRY M GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINT IN 'RHUBARB' - Next up we have your classic berry tone - the perfect, deep purple! I adore wearing colours like this on my nails come the Autumn - classic and perhaps 'stereotypical', but for very good reason! However, I would say this one in particular from Barry M is a little unique to other berry purple polishes I've bought and used before - this one has an almost dusky, cool undertone to it as opposed to some others which tend to pull slightly warmer and with a more red/pink base.

BARRY M GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINT IN 'BLUE JADE' - I really do tend to wear all types of colours on my nails but admittedly, of them all, blue is generally one which I reach for the least. I love it, but just not as much as some other colours but if there's one blue polish that I look forward to using every time Autumn rolls around - it's this one right here. This is like the perfect denim, inky blue! Again, not too deep and vampy but still very intense and impactful and though at first you may assume this is the sport of colour that may be difficult to pull off, it's actually very easy and flattering on the nails...

BARRY M GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINT IN 'MATCHA' - Last, but certainly by no means least - we have this gorgeous khaki green! Another more cool-toned shade (it seems the cooler tones are where it's at for the Autumn!), I just love how this one looks on the nails. So grungy!
