The Annual Christmas LUSH Haul! #DitsyDecember

It's that time of year again - time for my annual festive LUSH Haul! You know the dela by now - every week before Christmas in every #DitsyDecember, I'll pop down to my local LUSH store, pick up a few items from their Christmas Range for me to use over the festive period and share them all with you lovely lot! Sounds good, right? Let's take a closer look at what I chose out this year...

To start, we of course have some good ol' Bath Bombs! Possibly my favourite type of products from LUSH and definitely the format which they tend to branch out the most in when it comes to their festive range - and this year was certainly no exception. Firstly, I picked up the Santa's Grotto Bath Bomb. Isn't it gorgeous? A light teal green bath bomb with a pretty floral design - super up my street, if you ask me! I just had to pick it for that reason but not only that, I thought it made a change from the 'typical' Christmas bath bombs. As the design would imply, this has a lovely, light, floral scent that's slightly sweet but without being overpowering or sickly. I  can imagine this being just perfect on Christmas Day evening, to help break up all of the strong, spicy, sweet scents and flavours that you've been indulging in throughout the day! Which kinda brings me nicely onto the next one I picked up - the Snow Fairy Bath Bomb. This is basically the exact opposite of Santa's Grotto! If you know the classic Snow Fairy scent - you know. Just like the iconic shower gel, this bath bomb has a super sweet, sugary, candyfloss-like fragrance. I'm not usually one for something like this, but as a off off, one-hit-wonder bath bomb I think it works quite well - I remember picking one up last year and really enjoying it! I believe it also makes your bath water a gorgeous hot pink too, which is just my sort of thing... I also picked up the Fireball Bath Bomb. I just couldn't resist this one - just as the name and design suggests, this is a super firey, warm, spicy bath bomb! And we all know those warming scents are The One at Christmas so I knew this'd be the perfect addition to help fill that fragrance spot. The scent of this also kinda remind me of Cinders Bath Bomb - an old favourite which they've unfortunately not brought back this year - and I used to love that bath bomb, so hopefully I'll enjoy this one just as much! Then, finally for the bath bombs, I added the Snowman Dreaming Bath Bomb to my basket. For some reason this year, they've not done their usual Butterbear Bath Bomb (I think it has been made as a soap, just not as a bath bomb - boo!) but this looks like a decent replacement - with a bit of a twist! A cute, pure white snowman but with a rainbow strip down one side that supposedly turns your bath water into a multi-coloured haven! Looks aside though, the scent of this is also lovely too. A soft, slightly musky lavender fragrance which would just be perfect for a bath right before bed to *hopefully* help send you off to sleep - perfect to keep you calm this Christmastime!

Moving onto Bubble Bars - another main format of single festive LUSH products and the other format of bath product which I've tried many times before and pretty much always love! And I spotted two festive-themed ones which I couldn't help but add to my basket. The first is the Yog Nog Bubble Bar - Mmhmmmm. I remember picking this one up last year and loving it, so I just knew I had to repurchases this festive season too! This is like Christmas in a Bubble Bar - a rich, slightly spicy, sweet, almost caramel-like fragrance. Super yummy and indulgent but of course, fully guilt-free! If it's just as good as it was last year, I think I'll be onto a winner with this one. Then lastly, to complete my festive LUSH haul - I picked up a second bubble bar - this time, the Polar Bear Plunge Bubble Bar! Now, this one is like the complete opposite of Yog Nog Bubble Bar. Not only in design - as the name implies, this is a super cute pearly polar bear - but also the scent could not be more different. This has a really strong, fresh, minty fragrance which whilst at first may not be typically Christmassey, I actually feel like it's totally appropriate as just like the Santa's Grotto Bath Bomb -  this sort of non-traditional festive scent is just the ticket for cutting through your typical sweet and spicy aromas! Great for freshening up during the festive season...
