I don't think it's any big secret that I love a good face mask. From clay masks to sheet masks to peel off masks - I love 'em all! But perhaps one area I've not so much dabbled in much before are the more 'specific' face masks which focus on one area of your face, as opposed to it all as a whole - like your eyes and lips. So, it's safe to say I was pretty excited when I was lucky enough to get the Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack Under-Eye Brightening Hydrogel Eye Patches as part of a gift-set last Christmas! I'd always wanted to try under eye masks but don;t think I ever have in the past, so I was pretty excited to try something new...
And all in all, I was pretty impressed - so much so, I've already repurchased another set! These really are lovely. Their hydro gel material adheres to the under-eyes easy peasy and instantly feels really cooling and refreshing. They're not too saturated with product so don't slip around at all, but you definitely can feel something on there - which is always good! I simply left them to do their magic for a good half an hour or so (as recommended) and they were not only easy and quick to remove, but I loved how my under-eyes were left looking and feeling. Hydrated, refreshed, slightly brighter and less 'dark circle central' - what more could you want? They're obviously not something I'd do all the time, but definitely something I think I'd reach for every now and again when I want an extra pamper treat!
I loved them so much that when going back for my second pack, I picked up another more 'specific' face mask up whilst I was there - a lip mask! This is the Pout About It Hydrogel Lip Mask. Lip Masks are something that, again, I've heard about before but never tried myself and so when the option was right there in front of me - I couldn't resist. Especially as I'd loved the eye patches so much! I really like the idea of doing one of these when my lips are feeling particularly parched or just - again, similar to the eye patches - when I really want to take my pamper routine to the next level! Unlike the eye masks, I haven't tried this one out just yet but rest assured, it'll happen very soon - and I'm sure you'll all be the first to know what I thought...
