As I mentioned in this post, I've recently become a full-on kohl liner convert and use it most days. But I did also say that on the rare days I don't, I use a little eyeshadow on a small flat brush to define my peepers. And I thought for today's post that I'd introduce you to said brush. Yes, it's another from the Real Techniques line - who would've thought it?
Today I'm talking the Accent Brush from the Starter Kit. Small but compact, this makes putting eyeshadow on as a liner in a way that is neat enough for it to give the definition I want, but messy enough to give off that whole 'sexy 'n' smokey' vibe. Ok maybe not that one. Ever since I bought this kit a fair few months ago now whenever I've wanted to employ shadow in this way this is the brush I reach for and I will forever be glad of its place in my collection.
Do you ever use eyeshadow as eyeliner?
I use eyeshadow as liner too, I find it gives a softer but striking look and the choice of colours are far more great x
ReplyDeleteI do this all the time! Like you said I find it gets the perfect balance between smokey and sexy and neat, deep dark lines. I think it's easier to get neater lines with shadow as well, I make a mess with eyeliner haha.
