Back in '#DitsyDecember' I did this post, where I talked about six of the things I've learnt since starting Dainty Ditsy nearly a year ago now (where has that gone?). I also did this post more recently where I talked about half a dozen of the things 'that make you a beauty blogger'. Today I thought I'd continue along a similar theme of that and this time go for some of the things I've discovered specifically since I first took notice of the online beauty arena. Now, we're obviously a far bigger stretch of time than how long this 'ere blog's been up and running (I'd hazard a guess at 4 years perhaps?), so I could probably go on for more than just six point's worth, but did manage to somehow whittle them down, so here goes...
- Face wipes are not the best way to take off your makeup. Cleansing water is instead your best friend.
- The importance of eyebrows.
- The importance of contouring. Who knew my forehead could look so small?
- There are other tools available for makeup application other than your own fingers.
- Foundation should be bought as a perfect match to your natural skin tone, not a couple shades darker in an attempt to make your face look 'bronzed'. That's what bronzer's for.
- There are some seriously beautiful, talented and overall lovely girls out there who have made my own blogging experience even more enjoyable. *inserts big smiley emoji*
Would you say you've personally learnt anything since discovering or even possibly being a part of the #bbloggers community? I'd love to know...
