Beauty Brand Favourites: Montagne Jeunesse #AllMonthAugust

It's that time again for me to talk one of my favourite beauty brands for one entire post, giving you the lowdown on five of my top products from their range as we go. If you've missed any of the other posts in this style, I will link them up here for you to go and have a peruse if you fancy it. Ready for the first edition falling under the 'Fragrance and Body' section? Let's do this...

Deep Cleansing Blemish Mud Face Masque - Starting with masks of the mud variety, I have two favourite favourites to show you. This one I've been using for years, pretty much ever since I discovered the Montagne Jeunesse range. Even though my skin is far from blemish-prone (I suffer more with redness than with spots), the consistency and contents of this just leaves my skin feeling so hydrated, yet also 'clean' at the same time. I do find if I leave it on a little too long my skin can get a tad angry for it - so perhaps one to be careful with if you're a fellow sensitive skin gal - but other than that I really love this stuff.

Creamy Coconut Souffle Face Masque - The second and final mask from this creamy category comes in the form of a 'Souffle' as the brand terms it to be. These are 'lightly whipped' masks, so supposedly a little lighter in texture than the muds, but still rich in formula to leave your skin cared for and moisturised. This one in particular contains coconut (an ingredient I'm not usually a fan of in pretty much anything), but here I actually welcome its use - shock horror. Like the above, it leaves my skin super-hydrated and glowy in appearance afterwards, but unlike the Blemish Mud, doesn't make my skin so aggravated (big plus point). This also contains Coconut Water and Shea Butter amongst other goodies, so overall my skin just drinks this up and majorly appreciates it.

Green Tea Peel Off Face Masque - Moving onto peel-off masks - my person favourite kind and hence why I saved them to last. They're just so fun, yanno? And slightly weird too - peeling a strange dried gloop off your face containing all the gunk and grime that's been buried inside it for God knows how long. Anyway, this one is by far one of my faves for this task. I've really been getting onto the green tea hype bandwagon as of late and that includes my skincare offerings, apparently. Its addition helps to detox my skin and leave it super-cleansed and toned, while the lemon and ginger included also refresh and revive and give a lovely renewed look to the complexion. Me likes.

Passion Fruit Peel Off Face Masque - Another peel-off, this time with fruit as its main focus. This comes out bright purple (no jokes), so makes the whole 'peel-off process' even more enjoyable. The fruity properties give a real boost to the skin's appearance and I always notice such a brightness to my skin after I've used this, so not doubt that's the reason why. The natural enzymes in the fruit extracts eat away at all the dead skin cells on your face (lovely thought), leaving a fresh finish behind.

Cucumber Peel Off Face Masque - Finally for my Montagne Jeunesse round-up, we have a final one in the peel-off category and probably my personal favourite of them all. If I'm unsure of what mask to use on my pamper night and just want one I know will work and do its job well, I pick this. I always have a packet of this stashed away as I just know I can rely on it to be a bloomin' good face mask. It's super-kind to all the sensitive skins - as you'd guess - and it just leaves everything feeling and looking so refreshed and awakened - like your skin, but better. It's simple, but it's a classic and you can't go wrong with a bit of cucumber in a skincare item - well that's my motto, anyway.

And that just about concludes yet another Beauty Brand Favourites! I always really enjoy putting together these style of posts so if there are any other brands you fancy me having a little round-up of my favourites that they hold - please give me a shout!
