I know, I know - that's a pretty dramatic title. But honestly, I think it's a deserving one. It's not often that I find products which are 'game-changing' to me in terms of them being completely revolutionary to my routine and the kind of item that I can picture myself using for the foreseeable and repurchasing over and over again. But you know what? I think this may just be one of those products and today I'm gonna give you lovely lot the deets on just why I think so...
Hair-wise, my main issue tends to be generally keeping it under control. It's very much prone to frizz and doesn't react well to humidity and while I can get it to look at sleek and straight (or even sleek and curly, if I'm curling it) it doesn't always keep that way for long. I've tried various methods and products to combat this issue, but have never really got fantastic results, however on my last trip to Boots I came across something which caught my eye and soon enough, made its way into my shopping basket. Introducing, the Lee Stafford Dehumidifier Spray. This claims to help fight against the frizziness and keep your hair smooth and just how you styled it. Alongside protecting your strands from the elements, it's also supposedly got added haircare benefits inside which nourish them too - something which is also one of my main concerns in terms of haircare. It does all sound a little too good to be true and having given a few of these type of things a go in the past, I was a little hesitant but I'm actually so, so impressed. It comes housed much like a bottle of hairspray and you pretty much apply it the same way. Shake it up, hold the can slightly away from your hair and disperse the tiniest amount (seriously, a little goes a long way) and either shake your hair or brush it through so it settles. Done. It doesn't immediately make your hair feel product-laden and because of that, your first thought may well be that it's likely to have done nothing at all. However, the proof really is in the pudding as after using this, over time - when my hair would usually begin to go back to its frizzy, natural ways - it actually stays how I left it. Yes, really. My hair continues to feel completely weightless and like I've not used anything at all and yet I can really notice a massive difference in how well the styling of my hair lasts. Straight stays straight; curly stays curly - and the annoying small baby hairs I have keep under control. Is this a miracle? I think so.
All, in all, I could not be more impressed with this product. Considering the lack of success I've had in the past when it comes to fighting the battle against frizz and humidity in terms of my hair, this discovery really is a completely game-changer and something I think I will now forever have a can of in my haircare stash. And if that wasn't enough - it's only £5.99. Bargainous...
