Empties #25

It's time again for another round-up of all of my empty, fully-finished beauty products that have come to their end recently. I'm sure you all know what this kind of post is about by now, if not check out all of my previous ones I've done over the years here, but for now, should we just get started? Let's have a good ol' rummage through my beauty bin...

MAKEUP REVOLUTION CONCEAL AND DEFINE CONCEALERS IN 'C1' AND 'C2' - First up, Makeup and I guess it's not big shock that eventually, these concealers have found themselves in my Empties bin. Since trying this concealer back when it first launched in January, it has fast become one of, if not my ultimate favourite concealers. It's full coverage, blends out like a dream, has an amazing shade range and best of all, comes in at only £4 a bottle! That bottle itself may not last the longest, but for such an affordable price-point - you really cannot complain...

RIMMEL LASTING FINISH PRIMER - This is one of my all-time, favourite face primers. I've used it on and off for years now and it remains a go-to that I always come back to whenever I need a new face primer and want one that I know will do the job. It's basically more of a moisturiser-like consistency that feels super hydrating on the skin and gives my skin a bit of a glow, prepping my dry/dehydrated skin for makeup perfectly. It slightly 'blurs' the skin, leaving it looking a little more smooth and - most importantly of all - both makes my makeup apply seamlessly and last all day long too. I may or may not have already repurchased as I love it so much.

URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY - Another all-time favourite of mine - this is my go-to, holy grail setting spray. I've tired various (mainly more affordable) options but this is the one I come back to, time and time again. It's like glue for my makeup - locking it firmly into place and keeping it basically looking near-identical to how it looked when I first applied it, all day long. Not only that, it's also a lovely, refreshing finishing step of my makeup and really aids the finished look - melting everything together, taking away any overly powdered areas and just making my makeup look pretty darn awesome, even if I do say so myself...

ESSENCE 'MAKE ME BROW' BROW GEL IN '02 BROWNY BROWS' - I heard so many people raving about this brow gel that in the end, I had to pick it up and all in all, I'm a fan - hence why it's made its way into this line-up. A super-small product with an equally super-small brush, this makes setting your brows into place, all whilst adding some extra tint and fullness really quick and easy-peasy. Honestly, right now I have well and truly got back into my previous fave - L'Oreal's Brow Artiste Plumper which. FYI, is awesome - but I know that this will remain a favourite that I will most likely come back to again at some point in the near future. Plus, it's cheap as chips too...

EYLURE X FLEUR DE FORCE BROW DEFINE PENCIL IN 'MEDIUM' - Also for the good ol' brows, is my now ultimate favourite brow pencil. There, I said it. Yes, it may not come with a handy spoolie on one end, but that's nothing a separate tool can't fix and considering in its place you get two different brow colours (one lighter and one darker) - this makes defining and filling in my very naturally-sparse brows super quick and easy. I simply take the darker hue through the bulk of my brow to add the most shape and colour, before lightly feathering the lighter tone through the very front to create a softer, more 'natural'-esque effect and it works a dream, every. single. time. The pencils are the perfect colours for my brows, pigmented, creamy enough to apply easily and yet waxy enough to create some resistance and also ensure it stays in place all day long.

OGX HYDRATE AND COLOUR REVIVING + LAVENDER LUMINESCENT PLATINUM CONDITIONER - Haircare-wise, I think it's no big surprise to see this crop up here. I'm still working my way through the Shampoo because, as always, I finished the Conditioner up first - hence why it's found its way into this post! I adore this range - I think it's now my ultimate favourite from OGX in general - as not only does it deeply hydrate and nourish my bleached hair, it also helps to slightly tone, lighten and brighten my blonde up too. I think this is the range I'll be sticking to from now on - so you just know I've repurchased the whole set already...

ZOELLA BEAUTY SWEET INSPIRATIONS 'DOUBLE CREME' BODY CREAM - I finally - and I mean, finally - have finished this body lotion from Zoella Beauty. This range came out around two years ago now and as I have so many different body lotions/creams/butters/whatever to work my way through, this one kinda found its way at the bottom of the pile - until these past couple of months, I resolved to at last finish it up. Don't get me wrong - there's nothing to dislike about it - but it definitely got forgotten about and so, I'm pretty glad I finally got back into using it again and in the end, using it all up too! This lotion is just the right consistency, moisturises my body nicely, sinks in quickly and has a delicious almond-y scent that really lingers - I mean, what's not to love? However, I believe it has now been discontinued, which is a big shame!

SOAP AND GLORY 'HAND FOOD' HAND CREAM (TRAVEL SIZE) - Finally, we come to two hand-related products. Since we are only now coming out of Winter in the UK, I have been slathering on all the hand creams for what feels like forver - this mini being one of them. I actually got this as part of a travel-sized set at Christmas and seeing as this has to be my favourite hand cream, of all time - it's safe to say I was pretty pleased about it. This is just a classic that I'm sure you all know and love - a thick (but not too thick) cream that really nourishes and repairs my dry, cracked hands (which are always a staple in the colder months) and with that gorgeous, classic S&G scent that we all know and love. I've bought this stuff so many times before and after using this up, I know I will continue doing so for probably the rest of time. Even though, with the weather hopefully on the up, I might not be in such desperate need of it...

SOAP AND GLORY 'HAND MAID' ANTIBACTERIAL HAND CLEANSING GEL - Last, but certainly not least - a hand gel! I don't think I've ever featured anything like this in an Empties post before - or possibly even in my whole blog in general - but seeing as recently I've finished one up and it still is technically a 'beauty' product and (also from Soap and Glory, one of my favourite bodycare brands), I figured I'd feature it! This is a straight-up, classic hand gel - again, with the regular S&G fragrance - and though it's perhaps a more mundane product, the fact it's so nicely-scented and manages to clean my hands without drying them (or my nails) out means it gets a firm thumbs-up from me!
