If you haven't guessed already, I have a bit of a new obsession with Beauty Bay. They're quickly becoming one of my go-to destinations for online beauty shopping - plus, having now tried out their own-brand products, I feel like they may also become one of my new favourites for actual makeup too. However, this time when I 'needed' (more like simply 'wanted') to place an order, it just as much about purchasing products from some of the many, many brands they stock on their site - aswell as a couple of Beauty Bay's own goodies too. And naturally, I thought it'd be rude not to share what I picked up. Let's get into it...
First up, we have the main reason I was after placing an order initially. A few months ago, you might remember I did this post here, where I featured a brand new crop of brushes from Beauty Bay themselves. They'd recently launched their Rose Gold Brush Collection and there were a few of the singles that caught my eye - so I picked them up. Most of them I only bought one of, because I obviously hadn't tried them before and didn't know whether I'd like them or not. Well, having tried them all out, it turns out I really do love them all - so much so I wanted to add some more of them to my collection. So, I picked up basically all of the ones that I'd only purchased the one of before! They're all mainly flat, synthetic brushes that have quickly become my new favourites for really packaging on shimmer onto the lid - the 'Hide and Sleek' Concealer Brush, 'Shade Out' Small Shading Brush and the 'OG Shader' Shading Brush - but not only that, I also decided to add another of the 'Hey Shorty' Shadow Brush to my stash, as it's actually now one of my new favourite brushes for smoking out my lower lashline. Then, I actually had enough points in my TRIBE Loyalty Account to be able to claim a free brush too! From the same Rose Gold Collection, but I was super excited to have the chance to pick it up as it was a style I haven't tried already - the 'Best Angle' Blending Brush. I love a good fluffy blending brush and in my opinion, you can never have too many - plus, I feel like this one is pretty unique in my current stash as it's slightly angled at the tip too (as the name suggests)!
So, next - we move onto Makeup! Both non-Beauty-Bay-brand items - one a repurcahse, the other a newbie for me to finally try! The former is of course, the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer in 'C1'. Now I've started on my next bottle of this stuff, I always like to have a new tube ready and waiting for when it runs out - so I figured this order was the best time to repurchase! Now that Beauty Bay stocks Revolution Beauty, it's even more convenient and easy to pick up both my old favourites and new things from the brand to try - yay! I was hoping to be able to pick up the 'Supersize' version of this concealer as you get tonnes more product, it lasts way longer and it actually works out slightly cheaper too - but unfortunately, they only have the original smaller one on Beauty Bay at the moment - so I opted for that one instead. And to be honest, I'm still very happy to have just some sort of back-up in my drawer for when my current bottle reaches the end of the road. Then, last - but certainly by no means least - we have possibly the item I was most excited about recieveding when I placed this order a few days ago. Finally, the Wet 'n' Wild Mega Glo Highlighting Powder in 'Bloom Time' has come to the UK! If you've read round these parts before, you'll probably know that 'Blossom Glow' from the same range is one of my favourite highlighters. A gorgeous, light pink-toned highlighter with such a lovely, creamy formula and super-glowy finish - what's not to love? Well, a few months back I saw loads of US YouTubers I follow raving on and on about this new shade that'd been released and was amazing - 'Bloom Time'. And, just from looking at it, I could see it would be my sort of thing, so I patiently waited till it was *hopefully* released over here in the UK. And finally, when perusing Beauty Bay the other day, I spotted it and instantly added it to my basket before it could possibly sell out. Oh. My. Goodness - it looks even prettier in real life. Going from swatches and seeing it used online, I guessed it'd work for my paler skin-tone and having now seen it properly, I feel like it definitely will. It's an ever-so-slightly deeper pink, compared to 'Blossom Glow' but still is fairly light in tone and also has this gorgeous, warm peach undertone running through it. It just looks so, so pretty and I can't wait to give it a try, asap! I will most definitely let you all know how I get on...
