The Only Highlighter Palette You Need...

Highlighter-wise, I usually tend to go for singles. Then, I get the exact shade I want, like and - most importantly - suits my skin-tone best and honestly, that alone usually lasts me what feels like forever. I don't often go for highlighter palettes as there's typically only a couple of shades I use and like and the rest tend to go untouched and wasted. However, if there's one that I did pick up and most definitely never regretted doing so - it's the Revolution X Soph Highlighter Palette.

This was part of her very first collaboration with them, 'back in the day' - when she released her first eyeshadow palette - and I remember at the time, wondering whether to pick it up. I knew the eye palette had to be mine, but was initially a little more reserved with the face one. However, upon seeing how amazingly affordable it was, at just £8 and for a grand total of eight shades too (making it work out at just £1 per shade) I soon changed my mind. Not only that, when taking a closer look at the palette I actually came to realise that I actually may use a fair few of the shades too. With Soph being a slightly paler gal like myself, at least half of the palette can easily be used on light-medium skin-tones, whilst the latter half is especially geared towards deeper guys and gals - which is great - as no matter your skin-tone and preferences, you can easily make use out of a good deal of the palette. And with it already being so affordable, you really can't go wrong. However, that's all well and good - but how does it actually fair when put into practice? Well, I actually dug this palette back out again of my collection the other day as I was in the mood to go back to an old favourite - which ended up being the whole reason for this post - and oh my goodness, it's just as amazing as I remember it being! The formula is so creamy and glides onto the skin with no effort at all. It's so intense and blinding with such a little amount of product, yet at the same time is also super-smooth and not at all chunky or glittery in anyway. It just deposits such a radiant, sheen-ey glow to the skin - which I love. The formula is pretty consistent across all of the shades I've ever used too. Basically, this is the only highlighter palette I really ever need...
