Current Beauty Wishlist!

There's a lot of new drugstore/affordable beauty products releasing once again and there's a fair few items which have definitely caught my attention! And there's not just Makeup, but also Nails and even Skincare - there's a pretty good mix in here. So, I thought I'd compile all of my top picks from everything new-in that I'm eyeing up and might pick up in the not-too-distant-future...

MORPHE X JACLYN HILL VOLUME 2 PALETTE - This palette has been on my mind ever since it first launched. I have never tried an eyeshadow palette from Morphe before and I've heard mixed reviews - but when it comes to the original Jaclyn Hill Palette, generally the ratings seem to be overly positive. Apparently, that's down to the fact that the formula is a different and 'better' version but personally, I'm still fairly unlikely to pick it up as the colour scheme doesn't really call out to me. However, as soon as this second edition was released - it's safe to say my interest was definitely piqued! Full of your classic neutrals, but with more pops of colour this time - specifically pinks, reds, oranges, purples and yellows - this colour scheme is so up my street! It's actually one of the few Morphe palettes overall that have ever made me do a double-take, to be honest. That combined with the fact that the quality is supposedly the best of the best makes me pretty interested in this palette, so who knows, maybe I'll take the plunge...

REVOLUTION SATIN KISS LIPSTICKS AND LIP LINERS - These fairly new lipsticks and lip liners from Revolution look really nice! From what I can tell, I think they're actually the same shades they've used in the past for their 'Lip Boutique' (where they have the same colours, across various different lip formulas and finishes). You may remember I particularly loved their Matte Lips from this range and have certain shades I especially liked too - so the option of now being able to now get those colours in a creamy, satin lipstick formula this time really appeals to me. I also love a good lip liner, so they just kinda had to make their way onto my Wishlist too...

SOAP AND GLORY MAGNIFI-COCO COLLECTION - I stumbled across this range when perusing the Boots site recently. I'm not sure if this is new, but I'm kinda confused as I can't remember hearing or seeing anything about it before! So, I'm unsure, but either way - it looks and sounds really nice so it just had to be included in this post! From what I can tell, this is basically a super-Summery, tropical, 'coconutty' fragrance family - which sounds just delicious - and the products themselves are all of your classics from S&G too. There's a body wash, body lotion, scrub - you name it! And seeing as there's not one range from Soap and Glory that I haven't loved, I'm pretty sure this one would likely be a success too...

REVOLUTION BIG LASH VOLUME MASCARA - Whilst I wasn't the biggest fan of the first mascara from Revolution, The Mascara Revolution, I was still pretty interested when I saw they were expanding the family and adding a good handful of new mascaras to the range! And of them all, this one appeals the most to me. In essence, it sounds like the classic, 'does-it-all' type mascara which claims to provide good volume, length, lift, curl and everything else, all at the same time! Generally, I love and tend to go for a mascara like that so maybe when I next need a new one, this will be what I pick up?

GARNIER ULTIMATE BLENDS HAIR FOOD BANANA HAIR MASK - I love me a good hair mask or treatment and whilst I am more than happy with my current one I'm getting through from Soap and Glory, when that one gets all used up - I think this may be what I try next! I've heard some pretty good things about this whole 'Hair Food' Range from Garnier and I always tend to love banana scented/flavoured things so that aspect really appeals to me too. I may or may not have already given one a sniff in-store to see what it actually smells like, ready for if/when I make a purchase...

BARRY M LIP REHAB LIP MASK - I'm always interested when I see a new lip balm/treatment. Even though I have quite a few and already have some firm favourites, I love trying new ones and to be honest, they are something I do get through, so I don't feel as bad! This one from Barry M popped up recently when looking at Superdrug online and it sounds really nice - so maybe it'll be one that I'll try sometime in the future?

MAKEUP OBSESSION SO BALM LIP BALMS - And here we have another new lip balm launch - this time, one that I've eyed up ever seeing it sneak-peeked a while ago! But whilst the formula/set up of these does sound great, I think it's the 'flavours' this time that really appeal to me! Cherry, Mojito, Mango are to name but a few - yummy! Definitely another that I might pick up when I next want to try a new lip balm, or maybe need a new on entirely...

NYX HIGH GLASS FINISHING AND ILLUMINATING POWDERS - This launch really interested me! Being such a fan of the Revolution Pro Skin Finish, the finishing powder especially caught my eye as it sounds almost like the same kinda thing? A face powder with a subtle sheen to it, which you can use on your entire face to give you that gorgeous, all-over glow! Whether I'll like it as much as my beloved Skin Finish is another matter, but I think I'd quite like to compare the two. And then of course there's the highlighter (or 'illuminating powder') which sounds rather nice too! Hmmmm...

LOTTIE LONDON 9 PAN PALETTES - Would it really be a Wishlist post from me these days if I didn't include something that MakeMeUpMissa has recommended? Well, her it is! Missa used one of these in a video not too long ago and was pretty impressed, so that was enough for them to go on my 'To Try' List! Not only that, but the shade selections they have on offer just look so gorgeous too. There are more neutral offerings (ranging from cool to warm to straight neutral) and then there's some which are more colourful too (which you just know I'm definitely eyeing up!). And they're so small, compact and reasonably-priced too - what more could you ask for?

REVOLUTION SKINCARE X JAKE JAMIE STRAWBERRY DONUT FACE MASK - Finally, I just had to throw this face mask in here! I've mentioned some products from the Revolution Skincare X Jake Jamie in these sort of posts before but have yet to actually make a purchase. Not for any particular reason as they all sound lovely, but I just always have other face masks to use/work through it seems! However, with this newest drop again catching my eye, I knew I had to include it. This once again not only sounds delicious, but also sounds really nice, formula-wise too. Super hydrating, nourishing, smoothing - everything I love and look for in a face mask!
