It's actually been a little while since I last bought any Revolution Beauty goodies - and certainly since I've done a haul on their actual website! However, they were recently running a 3 for 2 offer throughout their entire website and with there already being a few items on my Wishlist - I figured it was the perfect time to do exactly that! And, whilst I was there, there were a couple other items that caught my eye and in turn ended up in my basket. The other day, my haul arrived (online shipping is generally taking a little longer than usual given the current climate which is of course completely understandable!) and I knew I had to share just what I decided to pick up...
First up, let's talk Makeup! Revolution Pro recently launched a brand new collection and one product in particular grabbed my attention - the Sculpting Bronzers! I chose out the lightest shade, 'Bahia', as I felt it would be the best-suited for my paler skin-tone and I am so excited to give it a try! Good bronzers from the drugstore/affordable market (especially matte formulas) can be few and far between sometimes, so I'm hopeful this could make it into my favourites. I also ventured over to the Makeup Obsession section of the website and picked up the Fluffy Brows Fibre Brow Gel and I chose out the shade 'Ash Brown'. Going on the online photos/swatches, this looked to be a pretty good shade for me, and I loved the whole 'fibre' concept as they're typically the type of brow gels I like to use. Having naturally sparse brows, anything that's going to make them appear fuller and 'bushier' is always up my street so let's cross our fingers that this one will do a good job! Then, it wouldn't be a Revolution Beauty haul if I didn't pick up an eyeshadow palette - right? And the I Heart Revolution Tasty Peach Palette was the one which caught my eye this time round! This just looks like such a gorgeous palette. Full of super pretty warm tones (as you'd likely expect from a peach-themed palette), I just fell in love with it and knew I wanted to give it a try. I've actually never tried any of the I Heart Revolution palettes before, but have always been eager to. Their infamous Chocolate Bar Palettes have caught my eye many times - and there's been quite a few in that series that have nearly made their way into my collection - but for some reason it was this one from their newer 'Fruity' Range right here which finally urged me to make a purchase. Let's hope all of this build-up has been worth it! I also saw the new Revolution Satin Kiss Lip Liners when browsing the site and thought I'd try out a couple of those too. Especially as I only thought recently how I'd like to beef up my lip liner stash a little more - particularly in the bright/bold/dark/colourful departments! I seem to have a lot of nude lip liners, but only a select few for every other lip colour (pinks, purples, reds, oranges etc.) so I thought this was a good opportunity to do exactly that! So, I plumped for - 'Cupcake' (a light pink), 'Cutie' (a bright, hot pink), 'Decadence' (a bright, orangey red) and 'Ruby' (a true, Hollywood red). I can't wait to see what I think of these!
I also picked up a couple of Skincare items too! The first being the Makeup Obsession So Balm Lip Balm in 'Mojito'. Yep, that's right - a mojito-scented lip balm! Being one of, if not possibly my favourite cocktail, I just had to pick this up to give a try. But, not only that, but if the Revolution Pro Supreme Lip Relief is anything to go by - I think the formula may well be a winner too! Then, I also finally picked something up from the Revolution Skincare X Jake Jamie partnership that's been ongoing for a good while now. I've wanted to try one of the face masks in this collaboration for what feels like an age, but finally I got round to picking one up in this haul and I'm so excited to get to trying it! This is the Strawberry Donut Face Mask - sounds yummy, right? But, not only does it sound rather delicious, the actual mask itself seems like it may well be right up my street too! Hydrating, smoothing, soothing - everything I look for in a good mask. And I guess if it really does smell as good as it sounds, that could be a rather good bonus too...
