Christmas LUSH Haul 2020! #DitsyDecember

It's not Christmas without a classic festive LUSH Haul, right? Every single year I head into my local LUSH store, pick up a few items from their Christmas range and then show them all to all of you lovely lot! I then thoroughly enjoy making full use out of them all throughout the festive season. This year, with everything that's been going on, I actually placed a Click and Collect order online so everything was a little quicker, smoother and 'safer' - I simply headed in on my specific day and time, picked up my ready placed and paid for order and I was good to go! So, whilst the whole experience was a little different this year (though of course I could have still gone in and picked everything up myself if I wanted), I was still super excited to get some LUSH goodness back into my life again, just in time for Christmas. And perhaps this year the excitement was even more so as I didn't have the chance to properly pick up and smell each product myself, I was simply going on the website descriptions alone! But, even if I do say so myself - I feel like I kinda did an alright job...

The first item I chose was their I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas Bath Bomb! Not only is this bath bomb super cute, it also smells delicious. A fruity, raspberry fragrance - it's not typically 'Christmassey', but I still really love it as I love anything raspberry-related! It supposedly turns your bath water a stunning shad of purple and it also includes popping candy which activates as soon as you pop it in the water, so I'm looking forward to that when I use this! I also just had to pick up the Butterbear Bath Bomb - as I always do every Christmas. This is a staple of my festive LUSH Haul and for good reason too. Once again, this is a super small and cute bath bomb and this time, it's got your classic cocoa butter scent. It's also packed full of the stuff too, making this a super nourishing treat for your skin. From experience, this one doesn't really do much in terms of fancy bubbles, patterns or colours but it does leave your skin feeling really soft and hydrated - and what more can you ask for this time of year?

I also picked up the Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb -  a classic festive LUSH offering that I've thought about trying for many years and finally this year, I have! This is a yearly staple in the Christmas LUSH Range and it's always appealed to me, but for some reason or another I just have never added it to my basket. Not only does this look stunning on the outside with its multi coloured design, the scent also sounded good too - a sweet, but slightly citrusy blackcurrant-based blend. It also apparently leaves your bath water bright pink - what more could you ask for? Finally in the bath bomb department, I also chose out the Winter Garden Bath Bomb. Now, this one sounds right up my street! A very warm, floral-based affair - both in design and fragrance - this one just looks so lovely. Again, perhaps less 'traditionally' festive but I personally love anything floral and this whole set-up sounds super calming and relaxing for bath-time too.

Last, but certainly by no means least - we have the one and only Bubble Bar of this festive LUSH Haul! This was the only one of the few they had for the festive range that really caught my eye - and that was the Snow Fairy Roll Bubble Bar. As I'm sure you'll all aware, Snow Fairy is an infamous Christmas scent for LUSH. They now sell it in so many formats as it's so widely popular and this bubble bar is one of them! I believe this to be a new version as I can never remember seeing it before. I have tried the Snow Fairy fragrance a couple of times in the past in various ways and have always enjoyed it - it is indeed super sweet, candyfloss-like and admittedly a little on the sickly side, but I do really like it! Hopefully this bubble bar is no different...
