I painted my nails all festive this week once again - so I just had to share! I also used a brand new polish as part of this look too, exciting...
I started off using the new polish in question - Barry M's Molten Metal Nail Paint in 'Antique Gold' - which is a gorgeous, deep burgundy red with a rich golden shimmer running through it. Very Christmassey, in my opinion and as always - it applied like a dream. Opaque in two coats, dried quickly and easily and had a super shiny finish. Also, the metallic effect was super pretty, as I always find with this entire Molten Metals range! But, to top things off and make the look even more festive, I knew I wanted to add an extra something - glitter. And for that, I chose out the Maybelline 'Bling Bling' Top Coat. This is your classic, true gold glitter nail polish, but it differs from some in the way that instead of regular 'glitter', this is more random shaped flecks of gold foil. So, not only does it add that gold sparkle, but it also gives a lot of texture and dimension at the same time! One coat is more than enough to disperse just the right amount of gold goodness to the nails, a layer of regular top coat and we're done! A classically festive nail look...
