When in Boots sometime recently (the trips all blur into one I swear) I spotted a couple of shower gels. Now, hear me out on this one. I know we are currently in the early stages of Autumn and the C word (the family-friendly one of course) really isn't that far away but nevertheless, they found their way into my basket and back home with me they came.
Why was I buying a couple of shower gels when summer has just come to an end, and I only really use the shower in the (typically) warmer months? I have to admit when I left Boots that day there was a part of me that asked 'why did I just do that?' when I assessed my purchases outside.
It was then that I thought about it and reminded myself of the fact that sometimes with beauty, you have to train yourself to think a bit more out-of-the-box and beyond what it says on the label, and rather use products as suits your personal preferences. Obviously there are a few exceptions to this rule - deodorant generally is used in certain areas only - but, applying this to my above beauty conundrum, I realised they would work equally as well in the cooler months, either as a bath cream or a body wash.
Beauty Conundrum #1 - solved.
