Out of all makeup items, I'd have to say eyeshadow palettes are probably my weakness. I can't help it - I have way too many yet when I come across another I somehow manage to justify buying it, convincing myself that there's at least one shade in there which isn't near identical to one in another collection I already own. I wish.
This palette first got drawn to my attention a few months back when reading Amelia's blog post, naming it her new favourite budget palette. I was intrigued and whilst I'd heard of the Little Mix collaboration with Collection, I hadn't been particularly interested in trying anything from the line. That was until now...
I fell into my local Boots, this fell into my hands, my card fell into the machine - you know the deal by now. I ended up back home with this beauty and of course had no idea how it happened. Anyway, before long my eyeshadow brush was falling into the pans and I was merrily swatching away - here are my thoughts.
Firstly, I must say how spot-on the shade selection is in my opinion. In terms of neutral eye options, carry this with you at all times and you're pretty much covered whether it be day, night, simplistic or more full-on. The shadows themselves are also of a good quality; creamy and buttery both when loading up the brush and on application. The pigmentation is of a fantastic standard considering the price point (£3.19), you only really need a couple of pats in the pan to get good colour payoff. I've also *touch wood* not had any fall-down so far with any of the shades so it's all looking good so far.
I do have a slight complaint, but having done some more testing and trying out I've come to the conclusion it may not be that major. I do find these (particularly the darker of the collection) to crease slightly. I do get this quite often with dark shadows generally, but I do think it's something to bear in mind if you've perhaps got pain-in-the-backside-eyelids like me too! I have found however that an eyelid primer (hello 'Primer Potion') to be a lifesaver in this situation so all is not lost fellow creasy eyelid people!
What's your favourite budget eyeshadow palette? I need some new ones to put on my list... (P.S. I don't - refer to pathetic reasoning at start of blog post).
I've never heard of this product before but it actually seems like such a good one - the colours are really pretty and is it seriously only £3.19?! That is ridiculously inexpensive!

It really is such a lovely product! So many times I buy a palette and there's at least one 'dud' shade in there, but I honestly cannot find one in this. I'd really recommend it if you're a neutral's girl like me! x
