Over the past few weeks it's felt as if every single product that I've suspected of being on its way out - went out. The moisturiser that I repurchased a while ago out of fear of being without it yet still lived on for another few weeks, the mascaras that I perhaps pumped a few too many times - all gone almost simultaneously. So on that note, I thought there is no better time than now to do my first ever 'Empties' post here on Dainty Ditsy. Like with any other post of these sorts, I'm gonna run through all my empty products, telling you a little backstory and a mini review as we go along. Ready?
Maybelline The Falsies and The Rocket (Waterproof Versions) and Benefit's They're Real - Just a few mascaras to run through. I, like pretty much any other blogger on this 'ere bloggersphere, am what I like to call a 'mascara whore'. Crude phrasing, but basically, I doubt I will ever find 'The Mascara' that I will repurchase over and over again. Unlike other areas, mascaras are where I like to go a little wild and pretty much try every one on the market, convinced it will be better than the last. All of these three I enjoyed, though having tried the original formula of both Maybelline mascaras I would have to say I prefer it to the waterproof versions. The Benefit, contrary to what some say, was actually rather good. After a bit of wearing in it really did make my lashes appear false (in a good way) - with length, separation and volume a'plenty.
Superdrug Sensitive Face Wipes and Eye-Makeup Remover Pads - These face wipes I've been a huge fan of for a while and I've lost count of how many packs I've gone through, whether they're used for makeup removal (rarely nowadays), makeup correcting (more often than I care to admit) or just general cleaning up of my fingers during makeup application (all the darn time - I'm a clean freak). The eye-makeup remover pads are more of a recent addition, employed solely for the days when I'm wearing waterproof mascara as sometimes Bioderma just doesn't cut it - surprising, I know.
Bioderma - Talking of Bioderma, a bottle of this may have also made its way into this empties line up. I've been a fan of the stuff for a while now, and I think this is my third bottle (I've used up a bottle the same size as this and a mini before). In short, like pretty much everyone else - I love it. I don't know what else I can add to the rave that hasn't been said before but I'm gonna try anyway. It makes taking off makeup and cleansing easy peasy and my skin is left feeling hydrated and not stripped at all.
Tesco Double-Faced Cotton Pads - I use these every time I use my Bioderma (quite often nowadays) so it's no surprise I've gone through another pack. They do the job just right and being double sided means you get double the use out of them. Cheap, but cheerful beauty goodness.
Nivea Sensitive Night Cream - I for one cannot express how much I love this stuff. If you've read my review from a while back on their day cream from the same collection, you'd know how much a fan I was of it and the same goes for its little (or big?) sister. Before this bit the dust another was already waiting in the wings, I was determined to not be apart from it. This stuff applies well, sinks in nicely, doesn't leave your face too tacky or sticky and you wake up in the morning feeling hydrated and ready to go with makeup. It's a good'un.
Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar - Out of the three items in the range I've tried so far, this has to be my favourite. Again I've already done a separate review on what I picked up from Zoe's range here so do check that out if you want more of an in-depth review. Whilst I'm unsure over a repurchase for now, I can fo'sho forsee one happening at some point in the future - the smell is just too delicious to resist. (Spoiler alert: It smells of, what I believe to be, parma violets - mmmhm).

Barry M Nail Corrector Pen - This has at last dispensed it's last nail-saving usage. I seem to have featured alot of these empties already on the blog, as again I have previously done a review on this little beauty here - I am just queen of the shameless pluggin' today. I said back then how it was nearly time to let the first one I bought go before moving onto a new one I already had waiting in the wings. And with the old one getting progressively more gross, the time is now.
So there are a few products I've used right up to the last drop/squeeze/chunk. I' d like to hopefully do some more of these down the line, obviously it'll be more of a 'as it happens' post than a regular feature though (I don't get through products that quickly usually). I have to say it did feel rather good documenting the fact that, despite being a beauty junkie, I do eventually go through my stash. Which clearly indicates to me that I might need to go shopping...
