I thought it was about time I did a more personal post letting you lot get to know me better, and what better way than the '25 Facts About Me Tag'?? I've seen many a Blogger/YouTuber attempt this tag before, so let's give it a whirl...
- I have two older sisters.
- My middle name is Victoria and when I was in middle school I used to prefer that to my first name (April) and so made all my friends call me 'Vicky' (as in Victoria) and when I think of it now, I majorly cringe.
- My favourite colour has always been Pink and I think it always will be.
- I cannot watch Crimewatch without being scared to death that I'm going to get murdered in my sleep that night or kidnapped when I'm walking along the road the next morning. I hate it, yet I still watch it - I know, I don't understand it either.
- I used to wear glasses from around the age of seven up until a couple of years ago when I started giving contact lenses a go as I hated wearing my glasses all the time. I now couldn't be without my contacts, I started off wearing them part-time and now I wear them pretty much every day. They make everything so much easier!
- I only like Winter up until Christmas and once we're in January, I instantly hate it and want Summer back again.
- The only instrument I've ever even tried to learn to play is the recorder at middle school when I went to a recorder class after school - lame, but true.
- My favourite subject at school was always English, and so I think it was the one I was always told I was best at too.
- I hate pretty much any sport and can't do any of them for toffee.
- I used to be absolutely petrified of the children's TV show 'Rosie and Jim' when I was younger and I still can't watch it now without it giving me the creeps. Urgh.
- Talking of Children's TV though - I used to love programmes like Teletubbies, Tweenies and The Hoobs - and I've noticed that there was a running theme. In any of the ones where there was a group of different coloured characters - my favourite was always the red/pink one. See, I told ya my favourite colour's pink...
- ...And because of that, when I was about 3 we got a family dog and she was named Fizz after my favourite Tweenie. True story.
- I have a collection of precious stones in a jar in my room from family holidays over the years, as every year I'd always try to find a shop which sold them so I could buy a few to add to my collection at home.
- I have only ever lived in two houses so far in my life.
- I have *touches wood a thousand times* never broken a bone...
- My childhood music love was Girls Aloud. You know that artist that you become obsessed with when you're younger and you buy every single album they release and want to go to every single concert of there's and know all the words to all of their songs (even the album tracks)? That. My love sort of dwindled when they went on hiatus, but when they reformed I instantly became obsessed again and the only thing that stopped me from going to see their Ten tour (a.k.a. soon to become their last one) was that I had no one to come with me! 20th March 2013 was a pretty sad day, to say the least.
- I love pretty much any food, I am the complete opposite of a fussy eater.
- I first discovered the online beauty community about 4-ish years ago (wow) and the first video I remember watching was one of Zoella's Primark Hauls where she bought and then proceeded to wear a monkey onesie.
- I have anxiety/OCD.
- I love long car journeys. Staring out the window whilst an emotional song comes on the radio is just my thang, yanno?
- I have never been abroad, ever. Hopefully one day soon that will change though.
- I take a while to feel completely comfortable around new people I meet. At first I can come across as really shy, though I'm so much more outgoing round people I've known forever.
- I used to go to dancing lessons in Ballroom and Latin (I think) when I was younger, and did a few dance shows too. I stopped going when I got older but I remember really enjoying it at the time - it helped to build my confidence too.
- Aswell as my all-time fave Miranda, I also love a lot of older comedies like Mr Bean, Keeping Up Appearances and On The Buses.
- When I was younger, I loved to watch my Mum cooking and used to stand at the table, with a paper plate, wooden spoon and plastic cups and mimic everything she was doing. I even had an old empty tub of Oregano that I used to use when she put any herbs/spices in and even the smell of Oregano now really takes me back to my childhood. Strange, but true.
And that just about wraps up my first edition of the '25 Facts About Me' TAG! I'm saying 'First' - as who knows if I can come up with enough to make another? Is my life that interesting? Let's not answer that. Please comment down below one random fact about you - I'd love to read them!
