We haven't done a Polish Pick for a good while, have we? So what better time than now - with me sitting here with beds freshly-painted with a combination yet to feature on this 'ere blog. And of course, it includes one from my beloved Barry M collection - surprise, surprise...
This is the Barry M 'Starlet' lacquer from their 'Glitterati' line, catered towards those wanting their nails to glow - and I mean glow, glow. I've actually had this shade in question living in my nail polish collection for a while now, having picked it up sometime in this last year or so. However, I've found in recent months it's one I'm increasingly going back to when I want my nails to look extra-special.
Of course, with it being pink-toned - this ideally pairs with any of my standard colours that run along that same spectrum, and one that I find works especially well is the Collection Hot Looks 60 Seconds Polish in 'Hoola Hoop'. This, to me, is best-described as simply a 'Barbie Pink'. Like, I can't find a better way to pin it down. The formula of this goes opaque in the standard two-coat deal and dries down to leave a glossy, rich colour behind, and whilst it's gorgeous on its own - I think it provides the perfect base to go a little more wild on top of.
The two together combine to make a stunningly-reflective pink nail look which I find perfect for any events in which my outside had a strong chance of being within that same hue. And, me being me - I'd say that chance is pretty darn high...
