If you're a fellow user and lover of Soap and Glory's Solar Powder like I am, I think you'll know of the struggle of the packaging it was originally housed in. Unlike some other powder-based products, S&G chose a cardboard-based set-up for their popular bronzer - making it far less stable, durable and cleanable than others on the market. Like others, I persevered as the actual product inside was far too good to miss out on purely because of the less-than-ideal packaging, but I can't say there wasn't a part of me that hoped and prayed to the makeup gods above that one day things may change, and I can finally say - they have. Hallelujah!
Say hello to the same old product, but now packaged up with a far more sophisticated and wipe-friendly plastic case. I mentioned this move somewhere in one of my last 'Loves and Lusts' posts, with it of course featuring in the latter category as something I'd heard about on the beauty grapevine and instantly mentally added to my wishlist. You'll know if you've read round these parts before how much I treasure this bronzer as part of not only my makeup collection, but my everyday makeup routine (yeah I know, it's that much of a staple). One pan split into two shades - one more honey-toned and the other more classifiable as a 'traditional' bronzer shade - swirl the two together as I personally like to, and you have what I believe to be the 'perfect' bronzing colour, ideal for both contouring and all-over warming up as you wish.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm super-happy Soap and Glory listened up of this one. See, dreams can come true yanno.
