Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray - It's Back...

When I first got into using setting sprays, I was all about the Urban Decay All Nighter. I'd heard good things, tried it out and let me tell you - every single one was completely true. I used it religiously for a long time before that inevitable 'I want to try something new' beauty blogger trait kicked in and when my last bottle ran out, I didn't repurchase and instead opted for the L'OrĂ©al Infallible. It was much a much cheaper alternative and at the end of the day - it still set my makeup in place in the same way.

However, while I enjoyed the finish it gave, in terms of application I did find it to be much more of a 'wet' formula than the Urban Decay version and the actual mist itself was far less fine - making it much easier to go overboard with and (as I discovered one fateful morning) much more prone to makeup-ruining mishaps. Strangely, it was only really during the use of my second bottle when I began to notice issues and with me starting to see more and more people raving about the All Nighter again - I guess it just had to happen. It's back in my makeup stash again and I think it may be for good this time. Sometimes with products, there's a misconception that it's all about the formulation and texture - but the way in which it applies onto the skin makes a massive difference too and I think that's the case when it comes to this setting spray. It doesn't necessarily set my makeup any differently or make it last any better - but it's much more straightforward and fool-proof to use. It's all in the details, yanno?
