With it now nearing the end of September (how?!) and the weather starting to feel a little more Autumnal, I feel like am fully beginning to get behind the prospect of transitioning into the new season and with that - of course - changing up my nail colour to match. It's cliché, but in the cooler months I'm all about the deep, darker, richer hues and this one certainly falls into that category. I've mentioned in a few times before since discovering it around this time last year, but have yet to do a whole 'Polish Pick' solely based around it so here goes...
It's not secret that I am a big fan of the Maybelline Super Stay Nail Polishes. They are some of the best of the whole affordable/drugstore market in my opinion - with a creamy, glossy formula, rich colour payoff, quick drying time and perfect applicator. I adore basically every shade I've collated from the range and I have to admit - this is one of my favourites. A gorgeous deep, burgundy wine colour (as the name implies); it's a classic Autumn shade that gives a nod to the season, while looking ultra-chic and sophisticated at the same time. I really like how it's not too dark and vampy and doesn; feel like such a stark contrast between the bright, coral-tinged shades I've been rocking these past few months and I remember getting so many compliments whenever I cracked it out last Autumn/Winter and I'm sure this season will be no different. Bring on the berry...
