If you've been reading round here for some time now, you'll probably have gathered by now that I am a big fan of Tanya Burr Cosmetics. Tanya has been one of my favourite Blogger/YouTubers for so long, but aside from that, the range itself really is rather brilliant. Considering how affordable it is, it's so well-executed and just generally amazing quality and I don't think there's one product I've tried so far which I haven't been impressed by. I've reviewed her original revamp of the entire brand here and only a couple of months ago I also featured her 'Soft Luxe' Collection in this post - so when the Autumn Range was announced and released a couple of weeks ago, it was only gonna be a matter of time before I picked up some items and gave them a go. Not only for review purposes, but also because it all looks pretty darn amazing.
This time round, the collection is comprised of a few different types of products that are all launching at the same time, and so have been collated together to form one big Autumn Range. Alongside another eyeshadow palette (as you'll know, I am a big fan of Tanya's palettes), there are also some completely new products that have been added to the line-up - a collection of illuminators and a range of lipsticks. Much like everyone else, all of those launches got me super excited and I just knew I had to pick up my personal favourites (going from first look).
Kicking things off with face products - and I was so happy to hear that Tanya was launching a collection of highlighters. As I've said many a time before, glowing, radiant skin is very much 'on trend' and on people's radars right now - myself included - and everyone's going cray cray for highlighters of all shapes and sizes so this couldn't have come at a better time if I'm honest. This range, dubbed as the #GlowYourOwnWay Collection, contains various illuminators - for the face, cheeks and body - and all of them look rather gorgeous indeed. Of them all, I plumped for the Face Illuminator (£7.49) and one of the Cheek Illuminators in 'Forever Summer' (£6.99). The whole range is encased in beautiful rose gold packaging which looks very fancy-shamancy and kinda fits well with the whole vibe of the range. The Face Illuminator comes in a tube with a handy pump at the end which you use to disperse the product out and I have to admit, I am really rather impressed with how this product comes housed and how easy it makes it to control how much product you want to use and again, adds to the luxe feeling of this range. Once pumped out, you're left with a stunning thick (but not too thick) liquid-y cream with a stunning pearlescent finish to it. There's no chunky glitter or overly obvious shimmer - just a lovely natural, radiant sheen. As I mentioned in my last post, I personally love liquid highlighters as they are so multi purposeful and this one is no exception. As Tanya herself suggested, this can be used alone as a glow-giver or mixed in with your favourite foundation and having used this for both of those duties - I have to say that it is awesome. It mixes and blends in like a dream with no issues at all and again, simply leaves the skin looking naturally glowing - as opposed to glitterball-esque. Moving onto the Cheek Illuminator in 'Forever Summer' and as soon as I saw these on Tanya's blog - I knew this one had my name on it. In simple terms, these are basically cream cheek sticks and alongside a rosy blush and a golden bronzer was this straight-up highlighter which I instantly knew was the one I wanted to go for. It's very similar to that of the Face Illuminator with the same icy sheen, though it's a tad pinkier in tone - but it's still extremely flattering on my pale skin all the same. As some of you may well know, sometimes I can find cream stick products to be rather difficult to work with, but this was a dream - still very creamy and easy to apply and blend with minimal disruptions and a comfortable feeling on the ol' complexion.
Next up is yet again an exciting addition to the range - another eyeshadow palette! If you've read any of my previous Tanya Burr Cosmetics reviews, you'll know by now that the eyeshadow palettes are probably my favourite product of the whole range. And considering how much I love everything else, that's certainly saying something. This one is called the 'Midnight Smoulder' Eyeshadow Palette (£5.99) and it. is. a. beaut. This quad comprises of four shades perfect for creating a gorgeous blue smokey eye. Don't get me wrong, I love my neutral shades, but sometimes it's nice to mix things up a bit and more often than not, I find blue, navy tones to be the easiest in terms of using colour on the eyes, but still in a wearable way. Having tried it out, I am also very much pleased to say that it more than lives up to my expectations. Just like all of the others, this palette is of such amazing quality considering it is such a bargainous price and the shadows are highly pigmented, creamy and super easy to apply and blend out. I cannot wait to really get good use out of this palette as we go through the Autumn/Winter months. Love, love, LOVE.
Lastly - but certainly not leastly - are the new Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lipsticks (£6.99). It's hard to pinpoint one launch which I was most excited about of them all, but I have to admit that when I first got wind of Tanya adding a selection of lipsticks to her brand, I couldn't wait to get my hands on one (or two). They have a cream finish which, as a change from the matte trend which I've been fully submerging myself in as of late, I am very much pleased about. I really like how Tanya has gone for a very classic feel to these lipsticks, with the more traditional finish and a six-shade selection which makes up everything you'd need for a capsule lipstick arena. There's your everyday nudes (not that kind), pinks and even a couple of darker red/berry tones and there's not one which I couldn't picture myself wearing (and probably loving). In the end I picked up two hues from the collection - 'Pink Cocoa', a pretty pinky, brown-y nude; and 'Wild Safari', a bright, slightly orange-toned red. Both glide onto the lips with no fuss at all and feel so comfortable to wear. The colours are rich and pigmented in just one swipe and while obviously they do not last as long as some of my matte formulas, they hold up pretty well throughout the day and I have to admit that it definitely makes a change to opt for something a tad more hydrating on my ol' pout. If I carrying on using these on the reg, my lips certainly will be thanking me for it.
And that just about concludes my review of the recent Tanya Burr Cosmetics launch! From what I've sampled, I can safely say I am once again thoroughly impressed by this new range and have discovered more favourites which I cannot wait to fully integrate into my routine. As always, massive congrats to the lovely Tanya herself for creating and collating yet another amazing release for Tanya Burr Cosmetics and I for one cannot wait to see what the brand comes up with next. And if you're yet to give anything from the range a go yet - what are you waiting for, eh?
Love the look of this new range defo gonna pick some bits up xoxo

The whole collection is SO lovely! Definitely recommend having a look at it! X
DeleteWould you describe the cheek 'forever summer' highlighter as glittery or just a glowing sheen? I want to purchase online but do not like a glittery face!
