I love a good face mask. They're pampering, relaxing and - most importantly - can do wonders for your complexion. Last year, L'Oreal released their range of 'Pure Clay' Face Masks. A fresh face mask pot that contains up to ten applications (though, in hindsight, I always find I can stretch them out for even longer than that number), I rather promptly picked up the one which sung most to my skin's needs - the 'Glow' variation - and needless to say, I loved it. This red-coloured one in particular contained a tonne of glow-giving ingredients and also a slightly 'grainy' formulation to buff away those dead skin cells and I found it to do exactly that. Afterwards, my skin was left looking - and feeling - super refreshed and radiant and for such an affordable price-point (and for something that can be used so many times too) - I instantly became a big fan. The other two in the range at the time never really appealed to me or my personal skintype, but recently L'Oreal have added two more, brand new varieties to the line-up and one of them immediately stood out to me as something I just had to try...
Introducing - the Pure Clay 'Bright' Mask. With a 'powerful blend of 3 Pure Clays combined with Yazu Lemon', this mask supposedly helps to 'clarify skin tone and refresh and illuminate the skin' and having given it a whirl - I would definitely say it does. The formula is pretty much identical to the usual 'Pure Clay' range, but this time round the colour is - you guessed it - a lovely bright yellow and the scent is very fresh and citrus-y too. The texture is very similar to the 'Glow' Mask - with that same, exfoliating texture - and so my skin is again, left feeling super smooth and silky once I've rinsed it off and I certainly find that my skin looks that little bit brighter and 'glowier' afterwards. Having slightly dry skin and also just simply being a lover of all things radiant in general - I am a big, big fan of what this stuff does to my complexion. As I said, such an affordable range and considering how many uses you can stretch each tub out for - it's certainly a good deal too. What more can you want, eh?
