If you haven't already guessed, I love a good dark red or burgundy once Autumn rolls around. It's a cliche, but it's a classic and whether it be in my Clothes, Makeup - or in this case, Nails - I can't help but fall for it every single year. This is a colour I've had in my collection for a good few Autumn/Winters now and it gets wheeled on out every time the cooler months roll round and I love it. Surprisingly though, I am still yet to shine a spotlight on it all by itself in a post like this so that's exactly what I'm (finally) getting round to doing today. Let's take a closer look, yeah?
As I mentioned, this is an oldie - but a real goodie - and it is Maybelline's Super Stay 7 Days Nail Polish in 'Deep Red'. And it's basically exactly what it says on the tin. A deep, burgundy red that's super chic and classic - I love it. It's nothing particularly groundbreaking or out of the ordinary (especially for this time of year) but it's one that I come back to again and again and each time, I'm reminded of how much of a firm favourite it is. As soon as it's Autumn and I'm ever unsure of what colour to go for when I fancy lacquering my nails up - this is the type of shade I'll reach for - and I'd highly suggest you pick it up for yourself if you haven't already. It's a winner...
