Ah, Christmas Shopping. Perhaps the one aspect of the festive season that means we're not so merry and bright throughout the month of December. I know it can be a struggle and a bit of a stress, but over the years I've definitely found ways of making it that little bit quicker and easier to accomplish and so, today I thought I'd share some with you all, as early on in #DitsyDecember as possible so hopefully, this year we can crack the Christmas Shopping conundrum...
START AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE - Actually, I personally like to start sometime towards the tail-end of October/beginning of November but if you are still yet to start - definitely do so now! It really does make things so much easier and stress-free to get ahead as much as you can - meaning you have more time to think of ideas, make your purchases and also means you can spread the financial impact of the festive season out as much as possible too, which I know can also be something we all tend to think of this time of year too.
PLAN AHEAD! - Similarly to the above, it's all about planning ahead when it comes to Christmas Shopping. Whether it be brainstorming some gift ideas, or looking at what offers come up so you gt the best deal - planning ahead really does help in getting your shopping done much more efficiently and with less stress or worry aswell.
DO YOUR RESEARCH - Now, I suppose this one mainly concerns all things price-wise - such as look for the best deals, comparing sites to see where prices are the best value or the lowest and keeping an eye out for when things may possibly get reduced - but it can also mean a lot of other things too. Perhaps do some gently probing of the sort of things people may have their eye on for Christmas - or, things they may own already, to ensure you don't get duplicates!
LOOK FOR DEALS AND OFFERS - This one really does help money-wise. Deals that run throughout the Christmas Shopping period - such as the Boots and Superdrug Gift 3 for 2 - really do make the difference in terms of being able to get a bulk of your shopping done or a handful of people's gifts sorted, at once, without spending as much as you maybe would have without it!
DO IT ONLINE! - If the main tress of Christmas Shopping comes predominately from the fact that you basically have to wrestle your way through all shops throughout December simply because of the sheer volume of people - save the ordeal and try and do it online! Or, at least as much as you can - because not all gifts can necessarily realistically be bought in the comfort of your own home, even though in a perfect world we'd probably like them to!
