Happy New Year! It's now 2019. Madness. I hope you all had a very happy, fun and safe New Year's Eve and are ready and raring to go with the New Year! With #DitsyDecember done and dusted for another year, before I go back to my usual schedule - although, more on that subject a little later - and dive onto my usual New Years Nails and Yearly Favourites posts, I always like to kick things off on this blog with a bit of reflection. Gathering my thoughts on the year past and also thinking about where I'd like things to go for the coming year aswell. So, let's get into it...
As always, I have thoroughly enjoyed blogging on Dainty Ditsy in 2018. It's been so fun and enjoyable as usual and I've really loved so many posts I've put together throughout the past year aswell. I hope you all enjoyed reading them too! And, on that topic - thank you, once again, for all of your continued support throughout 2018 too. Whether you've simply read my posts, left a comment, interacted with me on Twitter - thank you, thank you! I really do appreciate it!
I guess the only other 'thing' I really wanted to properly address in this post is my posting schedule. As you'll know if you've been round here before, or for a while, I have been posting three times a week, on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's for years now. Aside from when I do a 'monthly series' where I post every single day - such as #DitsyDecember - for the past few years, I have always stuck to that schedule. And, though in 2019 I do in some ways want to continue with that, with it being my fifth (yes, fifth!) full year of Dainty Ditsy - I feel like it's time for a change. So, right now I'm thinking that I will stay with that same schedule - both in terms of the days I post and the amount of times I post a week - but, not as strictly as I usually am. Basically, if I have a post ready to go for that day I'll post, but if I don't, I won't and I'll hopefully get back into things come the next post day! So, things won't necessarily change unless I don't have a post for that day. But, on the flip side of that, if I have more ideas to fit in, I want to be able to post more on other days. So, in essence, I want my schedule to become more flexible depending on whether I have less or more content! So, right now you can expect Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's as my regular, possibly skipping a day or two if I have less to post, but posting on extra days if I have more! I hope that's good with you all! I for one am pretty excited for a bit of a switch-up...
