Having a pretty sizeable makeup collection, sometimes it can be hard to actually get through products and finish them all up. However, there are some items currently in my stash that I've managed to make a pretty decent dent in - and now, I'm eager to use them up to their very last drop! Let's see if I can soon...
OBSESSION MEGA CONCEAL IN '03' - I picked this concealer up a while ago when it first launched and after loving the Revolution Conceal and Define so much (Revolution is their sister brand) I was sure this one would be just as good. I would actually say this one has slightly less coverage and a more hydrating feel/finish than the Conceal and Define but it is kinda similar and whilst I don't love it as much, I still quite like it. It blends well, has decent coverage, sits nice and smoothly on the skin and lasts all day/night long - plus the colour matches me perfectly! And so far I feel like I've used quite a lot of it, so why not challenge myself to try and use it all up, once and for all?
NYX BLUSH IN 'TAUPE' - Yes, this is technically a blush but do not be fooled - this is actually my go-to contour product! Because it's completely matte in finish/formula and is such a cool-toned, taupe-y brown colour, it works like a dream for shaping and sculpting my face. It's just the right level of depth that it works well for my paler skin-tone and the formula is just nicely pigmented enough to deposit enough colour, without being too much at once - yanno? It also applies and blends like a dream aswell, creating such a smooth and non-patchy finish. I already have another ready and waiting for when this one finally runs out but for now, I'm focusing on finishing this pan right here up, for once and for all...
CYO WHEN THE SUN DON'T SHINE BRONZER IN 'FAIR' - This bronzer became my go-to as soon as I tried it out - hence why there's now such a big dent in the middle of it! And seeing as I've clearly used so much of it up already, I'm pretty hopeful that I can pan it completely in the coming months - and I feel like I easily can, fingers crossed! Whilst totally matte, this bronzer isn't 'flat' on the skin (if you get what I mean) and the colour/tone is just perfect for me. It's not too light, nor too dark for my paler skin-tone and the undertone is just warm enough, without making you look orangey and Oompa Loompa-esque - which is always a bonus, right? It blends like a dream and adds such a lovely warmth and dimension to the skin - what's not to love?
MUA BRONZED PERFECTION MATTE BRONZER - Another bronzer (yes, that's right, another one!) that I've made a good dent in and would like to carry on doing so, till I finish the whole thing up is this one from MUA. This is another matte (but not dry or dull in formula) bronzer with a perfect shade/undertone for me and though I clearly got a lot of use out of it in the past, I haven't reach for it for ages now - and I want that to change! Mainly due to wanting to finally use it all up - so hopefully including it in a post like this will make me do exactly that...
MAC LUSTRE LIPSTICK IN 'PATISSERIE' - Finally, we have a lipstick that I've had for a while, got a lot of love and use out of and now, feel like trying to use up completely! I was actually kinda pleasantly surprised when opening this lippie up and seeing just how much I've worked my way through it so far. I do remember going through a stage a few years back, not long after buying it, when I'd wear it basically every single day I wore makeup - and that definitely shows! This is such a perfect, pinky-nude and with such a lovely, creamy formula and kinda sheer finish that adds just enough colour to the lips too. So, I kinda fancy getting back on that bandwagon once again...
