Obviously, it's been a while since I (or anyone, in fact) have been to Primark! But, with it reopening a few weeks ago, I made my first trip - and picked up a few items along the way. Some clothes, some accessorises and also, some makeup and beauty products! And, since its been a while - I decided to share them with you all...
First off, I decided to pick up the PS Makeup Brush Cleaning Sponge. I already have a spot brush cleaning sponge, but it's getting quite old and dirty and I figured, it was time to replace it! I also decided to pick up some more of my beloved Lip Liners. These are so, so good! £1 each, a wide selection of shades, easy to sharpen and a great formula that's fully pigmented, creamy enough to glide on smoothly but waxy enough to stay in place without moving around. I picked up back-ups of two of my favourite shades - 'Toast' (a gorgeous, mid-toned, warm brown nude) and 'Salsa' (a true, bright red) - and whilst I was there, I decided to add two new shades to my stash, 'Bombshell' (a bright pink) and 'Lava' (a more orangey-toned red). I can't wait to try them out! I also picked up the Bronze Glow Bronzer in 'Sunrise'. This was only £1 (yep, that's right, only £1!) and I love trying new, affordable bronzers - so I had to give it a go. It's a fully matte formula (my usual preference for bronzers) and I feel like this colour could work pretty well for me. It's not too light, nor too deep and it's warm, but doesn't appear too orangey, so I'm hoping it'll complement my paler skin-tone nicely. I'll keep you updated with what I think! And then, finally, I picked up two mascaras. I have always heard pretty good things about the mascaras from Primark - cheap, but really good quality and giving some pretty decent results on your lashes! I plumped for both the 3D Lash Effect Mascara and also the Fake It Mascara. Both claim to give volume, length, curl and just generally - drama - and that's exactly what I tend to like in my mascaras, so fingers crossed these two pass the test!
