Beauty Bay Black Friday Haul! #DitsyDecember

Beauty Bay always do a fab Black Friday sale, every year - and this year was certainly no exception! They had some amazing discounts running and they all applied to some products I'd had my eye on for a while - so I knew it was the perfect time to finally pick them up! Let's take a closer look at what I added to my basket...

First up, I finally got my hands on two more of the BH Cosmetics Weekend Vibes Palettes! After trying the 'Mimosa' Palette a couple of months back, I knew I had to try out the other two which I'd also considered adding to my collection. And I'm even more pleased about it as I also got them at an even more affordable price! Introducing the 'Blueberry Muffin' and 'Avocado Toast' Palettes - aren't they just stunning? As the names of both would suggest - the former is an all-out blue palette, whilst the latter is packed full of your gorgeous greens - and I cannot wait to use them! If the quality is anything as high as the 'Mimosa' Palette (which I'm sure it will be) - I think these could be pretty amazing...

I also had my eyes on the OFRA X Samantha March Start Inspired Highlighter for a while and seeing it go into the sale, I knew I had to finally give it a try! I was really interested in trying this as it actually combines equal parts of two existing shades from OFRA that I've wanted to try - and this way, I get both, but effectively only pay for one highlighter! The shades are 'Pillowtalk' (an icy pink) and 'Star Island' (a warm pearly ivory). Both appear like shades that would suit and complement my paler skin-tone perfectly and going on my previous experience with OFRA highlighters (I already own the Nikkie Tutorials Glazed Donut and love it) - I'm pretty sure the formula will be awesome too!

Finally (yep, I really did only pick up a select few pieces from the Beauty Bay sale this year!) I picked up another item from BH Cosmetics - one of their Liquid Linen Lipsticks in 'Christy'. This may seem slightly random, but I remember when MakeMeUpMissa first did her review of the Mimosa Palette, she was also wearing this lip colour in that video and I really loved the look of it. A rich, bright, raspberry pink in a super matte formula/finish - what's not to love? I love a good pink lip and personally always like to opt for a matte effect as it's sure to stay in place well on the lips - so this really called out to me. And with it reduced, I figured I'd just give it a whirl! I'll keep you updated with how I get on...
