Welcome back to part two of my mini-series on this 'ere blog of mine - #MakeupBrushWeek. Monday saw me raving about what I consider my top face brushes. Today's post, as promised, is along similar lines, only this time I'm talking my essential eye brushes that I could really not be without. Ready?
The base shadow brush. Probably my favourite eye brush, ever. When I bought the Starter Kit from Real Techniques, originally purchased for the Deluxe Crease brush everyone seems to go on about, I had no idea it'd actually be a completely different brush that I'd fall head over heels for. This brush was love at first swipe on my lids. It manages to do pretty much everything. Applying one colour, blending two colours together seamlessly, blending out the edges - I could pretty much just have this one eye brush on a desert island (like that's gonna happen) and be completely happy.

The accent brush. Now this one, you may recognise from a previous post. Like the Setting brush on Monday, it's been featured before. When talking how I like to sometimes use eyeshadow as eyeliner a while back this was the brush I cited as perfect for this technique. A small, compact brush with a flat edge - this makes lining your top or bottom lashes easy-peasy. And it's also pretty good at blending out kohl liner too if you prefer to use this instead.
The domed shadow brush. If I do use any other brushes for my eyeshadow other than the base shadow then this is it. This one is perfect for packing on the pigment, probably more so than BS (unfortunate acronym) and so if I have time/can be bothered to use two eye brushes then out this comes. Its flat, almost rectangular shape also makes it perfect for particularly packing on colour in the outer corner of your eye, and really deepening it up.
How are you finding this little series so far? Now that I've talked you through all of my favourites of the bunch, Friday's post will be centred on how I wash all of my brush collection and the two different methods I use before I conclude #MakeupBrushWeek...
