Best Beauty Stocking Fillers #DitsyDecember

This time last year, at the very beginning of last year's #DitsyDecember, I did this post here where I collated a lil' list of a few of my top beauty gift picks for Christmas. I really enjoyed putting it together, you lovely lot seemed to really like it too and so, this year, I fancied doing something similar. Obviously, I didn't really want to do the exact same kinda line-up again, so this time round, I narrowed things down to just the best of the bunch of beauty stocking fillers. Smaller items, all under £10 that would be just perfect for popping into a stocking, for a Secret Santa, or even if you just want to gift a loved one a smaller, more affordable gift. Let's get started...

REAL TECHNIQUES MIRACLE COMPLEXION SPONGE - A lot of the time, I think we can all be a tad guilty of heading straight to the 'Gifting' section online/in-store when really, some of the best gifts out there can be more 'everyday' items that are sitting right under our noses. Beauty sponges have really grown in popularity over the last couple of year and in terms of the drugstore market - this one from Real Techniques has to be the best of the best. This is an awesome affordable alternative for the classic Beauty Blender - compared to £16, this comes in at only under a fiver! Bargain! It's really good quality, is super-soft, expands well when dampened and does such a great job at bouncing base products into the skin. I love it and I know a lot of other people do to - so why not introduce it to one of your loved ones and try and spread the love even further, eh?

SOPH X MAKEUP REVOLUTION EYESHADOW PALETTE - You just knew this was gonna make an appearance in here somewhere, didn't you? This has been by far one of my favourite, favourite discoveries of 2017 and I just had to give it a mention as not only do I adore it - I'm pretty sure most other people would too and it's only a tenner! Eyeshadow palettes are, again, something which you may initially overlook in terms of gifts but, in fact, they are an awesome option - this one in particular. I really feel like this is the best palette I've ever seen in terms of versatility and having 'something for everyone'. You've got your neutrals, your warm-tones, cool-tones and a few pops of colour too - all in a variety of matte, shimmer or satin finishes - and so, I really feel this would be the perfect palette to gift someone. Whatever their preferences - there's bound to be something in there for them, plus some options to maybe help them step outside of their comfort zone too! I also think it would make a great palette for a beginner aswell as you basically have near to every colour and finish in there that you need. All of the shadows are buttery, well-pigmented and easy to blend with minimal fall-out and as I said - you get 24 of them for £10 (plus a huge mirror too)! I basically just think everyone should own this palette *mic drop*.

SLEEK 'MATTE ME' MUST HAVES GIFT SET - You can't go wrong with anything in miniature form gift-wise at Christmas - especially when thinking about stocking stuffers - and isn't this little set from Sleek just so darn cute? They did something similar to this last year I think and I remember lusting after it back then, so I guess it's no surprise that I feel the same way this year too. Featuring four travel-sized versions of their hugely-popular Matte Me Liquid Lipsticks in a variety of crowd-pleasing shades - from the pinky-nude 'Birthday Suit' to the dusky purple 'Velvet Slipper'; the bright 'Rioja Red' to the deeper burgundy 'Old Hollywood' - there is basically something for everyone in here. As I said, these are all miniature form and so perfect for either on-the-go or perhaps for someone who perhaps hasn't sampled the Sleek Matte Me's before and all in all, you're getting a good variety of shades for around the same price as one full-sized colour - which is a pretty good deal if you ask me.

MAYBELLINE 'PAINT THE TOWN RED' GIFT SET - Another great little stocking filler for all the makeup lovers in your life comes from Maybelline. I think they've done this type of duo of nail polish and lipstick in two shade combinations - in nude and then this, red - but I thought I'd give a mention to the latter as while I think we're all a fan of the neutral tones on our lips and tips, Christmas is all about the red, isn't it? I personally love rocking good ol' red lips and red nails over the festive season and I know a lot of other people do too - so what better stocking filler than this cute set? Both of the products inside are in this gorgeous, deep-but-not-too-deep red hue that matches pretty much perfectly and would an ideal combination to rock over Christmas if you received it in your stocking. The formula of both the Color Show Polishes and the Color Sensational Matte Lipsticks are just awesome and though I've never tried or owned either of these colours - I'm pretty sure they'd just as much live up to expectations. Plus, at the price-point, you're basically getting two items for the price of one - winner!

FLEUR DE FORCE X EYLURE LASHES - Another non-typical beauty gift that you might initially overlook to stuff in a stocking is a pair of false lashes. They're small, individual and can be well-personalised too - if you know what lashes someone loves, you know where to go. However, maybe if you're not as clued-up on the types of faux lashes that someone wears on the regular - I'd suggest going straight for something from the Fleur De Force x Eylure Range. This is a drugstore collection that's all relatively affordable (I think all of the styles/variations come in under £6) and accessible and having tried basically all of the variations on offer - I highly recommend every single one. They're amazing quality for the price, can be re-used multiple times as long as you take care of them and again, have something for everyone. You've got you're super-natural flutter, all the way up to your full-on, out out lash and everything in-between and they're actually not too difficult to apply - even if you're a newbie to it all. Pick a style and you're good to go...

GARNIER MOISTURE BOMB TISSUE MASK - You cannot go wrong with a good ol' face mask in someone' stocking if they're into their beauty bits 'n' bobs and this one has to be one of my personal favourites. A single-use sheet mask packed full of hydrating, goodness - you quite literally just apply this onto your bare face, leave for ten-fifteen minutes and then remove - and oh my does this do such amazing things to your skin. After massaging in any excess serum left on your complexion - you are left with such glowy, healthy, radiant-looking and feeling skin and for such a bargainous product - it is a winner. A nice, compact little goodie that is just perfect for filling up a stocking with this Christmas if you don't want to go down the 'gift, gift' route.

LUSH BATH BOMBS - The final little inclusion in this beauty stocking stuffer round-up that isn't so much from the 'festive gifting' section are your good ol', classic bath bombs. Particularly, Lush Bath Bombs because - there really is something about them, isn't there? I know around Christmas they bring out their gift sets full of them - plus usually some other items such as soaps, shower gels and body butters - but if you're after a nice, little stocking filler that's pretty affordable - why not just go in and buy one of their singles? With the handy little paper bags, you're basically already wrapped it up there and then and you're good to go. Even if you don't fancy picking up something from their Christmas Range, they have such a wide selection of their 'classic' products that there's bound to be something there that's right up someone's street...

SOAP AND GLORY 'GET A SMOOTH ON' GIFT SET - For the bath and body lovers in your life, you just can't go wrong with a classic Soap and Glory gift set at Christmas and even if you don't want to go all-out with one of their ginormous packages - there's a good few smaller, options in the range that are just perfect for stocking filler - this duo being one of them. Inside here you get two handy travel sizes of both their 'Flake Away' Body Polish and also their infamous 'The Righteous Butter' Body Butter - both of which I've use numerous times in the past and are firm favourites of mine. As I said, they're both in miniature form so are ideal for on-the-go, or maybe just first-time-sampling if someone's never used them before, but to be honest, I'm pretty sure they'll soon become firm favourites of whoever you gift this to aswell...

BAYLIS AND HARDING PINK PROSECCO BOXED BODY WASH - Now for something a little fun and perfect for the prosecco lovers in your life. I mean, everyone loves prosecco, yeah? I certainly do - and I know a lot of other guys and gals do too. Obviously, this is not actual prosecco, but more a beautiful bottle of bubble bath presented as such. Dreamy, right? That's not all though, it's also fragranced with 'Pink Prosecco and Cassis' and so basically, you can live out the dream of bathing in prosecco and really, what more could you want? The perfect little stocking filler or mini gift for anyone in your life who adores a glass or five of fizz...

THE BODY SHOP VANILLA CHAI HAND CREAM - Every year, The Body Shop just kills it when it comes to festive fragrances. They always come out with a handful of ranges for the season that just scream 'Christmas' and this year - they've done it again. 'Vanilla Chai' has to be one of my personal favourites I've seen from the brand and when I spotted it in hand cream form - I just knew I had to include it a post just like this. You cannot go wrong with a good ol' hand cream at this time of year - it's an essential in my opinion - and what better than in this warming, but sweet scent? I can imagine this being a sure-fire winning stocking filler gift for most people...
