Current Everyday Nude Lip Picks #2

Remember a couple of months back when I did this post here, detailing all of my current nude lipstick loves? Well, in that time since I've collected a handful of new favourites that I've been wearing - and loving - regularly - so I thought, why not do a Part Two? I love a good nude lip (don't we all?) and I love finding new ones, or all different tones, formulas and finishes so today I'm going to once again share all of my current top picks. Let's get started...

REVOLUTION X SOPH LIPSTICK IN 'CAKE' - Starting off with a 'traditional' bullet lipstick and a proper good 'un with that. Much like a few other inclusions in this post, this is a pretty new addition to my stash (and the makeup arena in general) - but ever since trying it out, I've fell in love. Of the three Soph released, I picked up another from the range - 'Syrup', a light, browney nude - but 'Cake' is actually the one which so far has really stole my heart. This is more of a pinky nude and combined with the super-creamy formula that glides onto the lips like a dream, leaving a satin finish that's uber-comfortable and yet, whilst not lasting all day, does pretty well before needing a top-up - what's not to love?

RIMMEL STAY MATTE LIQUID LIP COLOUR IN 'STRAPLESS' - And so, we move onto the good ol' matte liquid lipsticks. We all know I love them and the nude variety is definitely no exception. This one's been a favourite of mine for a couple of months or so now, and it shows how awesome it is for it to have stood the test of time and remained a go-to up to now, right? A dusky pink-mauve nude, this is a gorgeous kind of 'MLBB' type of shade and with a powdery-matte finish that's long-wearing and yet doesn't feel too drying on the lips, it's a winner.

SLEEK MATTE ME LIP CREAM IN 'BIRTHDAY SUIT' - Onto more of a 'long-term' classic that's been a favourite of mine for a while now. I've loved this shade (and range in general) for ages now and especially so recently, it's been a real go-to of mine. This is your good ol', everyday pinky-nude that's neither too light, nor too deep and so again, is a good, 'MLBB' colour for me, which I really like. The formula once again goes on glossy, before quickly setting down to that same kind of powdery-matte finish I love and once it's on, it ain't going nowhere till you say so.

L'OREAL LES CHOCOLATS MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK IN 'DOSE OF COCOA' - This is more of a 'fresh' addition to my nude lip rotation, but going on how much I fell in love with it from the off - and also how much I've been wearing it since - I think we can fully conclude it's a new favourite of mine. I already owned 'Sweet Tooth' but fancied picking up another shade that was perhaps a touch darker and this one stood out to me. As I said, this is just a smidgen deeper, but it's still very much a lighter nude and it works so well for me and my paler skin-tone. The formula of these is very akin to the likes of the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks as they dry down and fully lock into place, but still retain a slightly patent-like, shiny finish - meaning they're super comfortable, yet are still telecom transfer-proof and last all day long.

REVOLUTION NUDES COLLECTION MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK IN 'BUFF' - Last, but certainly by no means least - another pretty recent new favourite of mine. I picked up two shades of this matte range, but so far, 'Buff' is possibly my favourite, favourite. A light, pinky nude that again, is another perfect 'MLBB' type of colour for me, this is a super quick and easy colour to wear on an everyday basis. The formula is another winner - very skin to the likes of the Rimmel and Sleek - and whilst is may take an extra layer to achieve full opacity, it easily builds and looks awesome when you do so.
