Collective Beauty Haul...

I've been picking up a few beauty bits here and there over the past few weeks and it occurred to me the other day that I've got a fair few things that I'm really excited to use and I'm yet to show to you all so - time for a haul, yeah? There's some makeup (of course), but also a couple of other things that are all fresh and new and I'm so happy to finally be featuring so I can give them a go and put them to good use. Let's get into it...

Starting with the non-makeup pieces, first off I picked up the Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango and Tonka Bean Body Scrub. I was in need of a new body scrub, with my current one quickly running out, but for a change, I decided to stray from good ol Soap and Glory (who I usually head straight for when needing a body scrub) and try something new. I know, I know. I've wanted to try something from this brand ever since they launched last year (I think) and with the whole range being on offer at Boots and actually working out cheaper - what better time than now, eh? On first look, this appeared to be a pretty decent scrub, plus it smells totally delicious too. I'll let you know how I get on...
I also picked up a new day and night cream. Again, with my current duo running out, I fancied a switch-up so this time I went for the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Day and Night Creams. As you probably know, I already love the Glycolic Cleansing Pads and Brightening Eye Cream from this range so it just kind of made perfect sense to try out some other products from the collection - and what better than the Day and Night Creams? They both get super good reviews online, so hopefully I'll love them just as much too!

Moving onto good ol' Makeup, I finally managed to get my hands on something I have been after picking up for the longest of times - the Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in 'Molten Rose Gold'. Ever since the whole range of Master Chrome Highlighters first made their way to the UK a while back I have wanted to try them out, but the initial release of shades just weren't right for me. However, after seeing Tati (of 'GlamLifeGuru') rave about a certain other colour time and time again, I thought that maybe it might be worth giving a go - so here we are. This shade appears to be lighter than the others that have been released over here previously, so I'm hoping it'll work well for my paler skin-tone. As the name suggests, it's a super-pretty light, rosey pink with a gorgeous gold undertone running through it and it's actually looks to be different from a lot of other powder highlighters I already have in my collection, which is always a plus-point too. Then, another makeup items I recently picked up was the Maybelline The Falsies Mascara. I was, again, in need of a new mascara to have ready and waiting when my current one I was using finally gave up the ghost and I spotted that Maybelline had kinda 're-released' this one. I used to love this stuff back in the day (you know, when Tanya Burr used to rave on and on about it) and then over time, as is typically the case with a lot of makeup products, I just found other mascaras that I loved and kinda forgot about it. Until now, that is. As I said, I spotted that Maybelline have kinda gave it a little packaging update and seem to be promoting it a lot right now (despite it obviously being an old favourite) and so, I figured - why not give it a go again? Will I still like it as much as I used to? There's only one way to find out, right?

Last, but certainly by no means least - Nails! I only have one item for this particular category, but it's a good'un, let me tell you. This is the Barry M Molten Metal Nail Paint 'Pink Luxe' - isn't it a beauty? You all know by now that I am a firm fan of the Barry M Molten Metal Range and so, whenever a new selection of colours are released, I can't help but be intrigued and eventually pick up a shade or two as a result - and this is exactly what happened here. Basically all of them caught my eye, but the one that I really liked the look of was this one right here. It's such a different, unique kind of colour that's so difficult to pinpoint, but I think that's part of the reason why I love it and wanted to add it to my collection so much. It's like a deep, pinky-purple with a gorgeous, deep golden-bronze shimmer running through it. It looks totally different depending on how the light catches it but either way, it's stunning and if the bottle is anything to go by, I think I'm going to really enjoy lacquering up my nails with this beauty at some point very, very soon. Keep your eyes peeled for a 'Polish Pick' no doubt...
