All this week I've been giving some much-needed updates to my old series, 'Beauty Brand Favourites' and finally, last up (at least for now) is L'Oreal! You can catch up on my other two editions from earlier this week here and here if you fancy but basically, in short, here's my top five picks from what I've tried from L'Oreal this time! Let's get straight into it!
INFALLIBLE 24HR FRESH WEAR FOUNDATION - This foundation has quickly become a new favourite of mine! It's a lovely, medium coverage that can be easily sheered out or built up as you like (though I wouldn't day you can really get full-full coverage out of it) and the finish is so nice too. Not too matte, nor too dewy - just kinda skin-like, you know? It's so quick and easy to blend out, sits really well on the skin and once set into place - lasts pretty nicely throughout the day or night too. I just know this is going to be a foundation I'll repurchase asap when the time comes...
BACK TO BRONZE BRONZER - This bronzer is another staple in my stash and one that lately, I've come back to and rediscovered my love for all over again. This bronzer is the perfect depth for my paler skin-tone and an ideal undertone too - rich and warm, without being too orangey at all. It's also fully matte (my typical preference when it comes to bronzers), applies and blends really well on the skin and keeps me looking nice and bronzed (and also sculpted if I'm using this without the addition of my usual contour) all day or night long!
CRUSHED FOIL METALLIC HIGHLIGHTER IN 'ROSE QUARTZ' - I'm not sure if you can actually get this awesome highlighter anymore, but it's such a favourite of mine that I knew I had to include it in this favourites round-up anyway. I knew after hearing so much hype about it that I needed to give it a go - and boy, was it more than worth it. I was a little unsure as to whether the rose gold colour would work for my paler skin-tone, but it actually does - yay! This gives such a blinding, yet smooth and non-glittery glow to my skin. It almost just makes your skin appear 'wet', you know? A little sure goes a long, long way too...
BROW ARTISTE PLUMPER - In terms of brows, this brow gel has been my sole go-to for years and years now. Not only does it do a great job of locking my brow hairs into place (without leaving them feeling crispy at the same time), it's also tinted and so adds some well-needed extra colour and depth to my brows too. But, possibly the best part of all is that this has tiny fibres in the formula that help make your brows look far fuller and beefier too! Which in my case especially, having naturally quite spare brows, is very welcome indeed...
LES CHOCOLATS LIQUID LIPSTICKS - Finally, I couldn't not give a shout-out to these liquid lipsticks! An all-nude collection (though I have recently seen a more colourful new range called 'Macarons' which I might have to try a shade or two from soon) - not only are the shades super-pretty, the formula is great too. They're fully opaque in colour in just one coat, dry down pretty quickly and have a nice, fully matte finish too. They're not too uncomfortable or drying on the lips and wear pretty well throughout the day or night aswell - asides from the usual slight wear-down through eating/drinking and so on! Also, possibly best of all, they actually smell like chocolate too. Mmmhmmm...
