Revolution Beauty Wishlist

At the moment, it seems there's new Revolution Beauty products dropping here, there and everywhere! Whether it be the original Revolution brand, or one of their sub-brands like Revolution PRO, Obsession, I Heart Revolution or Revolution Skincare - there's always something new to be eyeing up and potentially purchasing. And lately, I've definitely compiled together a little list of some that have caught my attention the most and have the most potential for me to perhaps add to my basket in the not-so-distant future...

REVOLUTION CONCEAL AND HYDRATE FOUNDATION AND CONCEAL AND HYDRATE CONCEALER - The first that I am perhaps definitely the most excited about of them all is this new foundation and concealer range. We all know that I love the classic Conceal and Define collection from Revolution. Ever since the concealer launched back at the very start of 2018, it soon became my new holy grail and when the matching foundation followed not long after, it too became an instant staple in my stash and my go-to for whenever I wanted a full, full coverage base. Both have a demi-matte effect which I actually really like and get along with perfectly fine, despite me having normal-dry skin and typically preferring a dewy/skin-like finish and so I wasn't especially craving more hydrating/glowy versions. But, when I saw Revolution were infact providing us with exactly that - I couldn't help but be rather excited! I'm very eager indeed to see how they compare with the original Conceal and Define formula and finish. Will I like them as much, or maybe even more? They've both apparently got the exact same shade range (both in terms of the amazing 50-strong colour range and the shades itself) so I will definitely be picking one of each in my usual colours to see what I think. Keep your eyes peeled for a review coming soon...

REVOLUTION CONCEAL AND FIX LOOSE SETTING POWDERS - A launch that kinda aligns itself more with the classic Conceal and Define range this time - we've got a new collection of loose powders! Revolution actually expanded their classic loose powders a while ago and though I like that one, I'm pretty eager to try this formula and see how it compares. Maybe it'll be even better if it claims to be a perfect partner for the Conceal and Define range - a firm favourite of mine? I also kinda think the packaging of this new one looks to be a little better too. My one, big 'gripe' with the original Loose Powders from Revolution is the awkward packaging with the tiny lid that you can never get a sponge or brush in - meaning you sort of need to decant the product into a separate loose powder pot to be able to properly use it. These ones however, look to have much better, 'traditional' style packaging with what appears to be a flip-up lid - yay! Maybe I'll be giving one of them (let's face it, it's gonna be the 'Translucent', right?) a go?

REVOLUTION LIP BOUTIQUE NEW SHADES - Lips-wise, they've added a fresh new selection of shades - all brighter, bolder and/or deeper - to their Lip Boutique! A.k.a. their lip collection where they have a selection of formulas and finishes, with the exact same shades! The first time round, it was a range of more nude, neutral or muted colours whilst this time, they've expanded to include more brights and bolds! And whilst I love a good nude lip, I love a good bold lip too - so this expansion is kinda right up my street. There's a selection of reds, pinks, purples - you name it - and there's certainly a few which have caught my eye. I've said before how the Liquid Matte Lipsticks are a personal fave of mine, so I might just have to check out a few of the colours in that particular formula...

REVOLUTION NAIL POLISHES - Another new-ish launch from Revolution are finally, nail polishes! They've been teasing them for a while and at last, they're here. And at just £3 each and with such a wide, diverse, gorgeous-looking selection of shades - I am definitely thinking of picking a few up to try and see what they're all about. You all know I love doing my 'Polish Pick' posts, so expect some shades to crop up in that series soon...

REVOLUTION SKINCARE X JAKE-JAMIE 'FEED YOUR FACE' ROUND 2 - Finally, something new from Revolution Skincare - we have the second collaboration with influencer/Instagrammer, Jake-Jamie! I was pretty intrigued with the first 'Feed Your Face' Range he brought out with them, but never ended up picking anything up. But this time, with some brand new face masks and new face spray (all of which sound just as, if not even more so, delicious than the previous range) - I may just be tempted. Avocado Face Mask? Give it to me...
