It's once again time to revisit another beauty brand that I've recapped my favourites of before, but feel it's about time I revisit it and reassess just what my favourites are right now! And this time, we have Barry M...
FLAWLESS MIST AND FIX DEWY FINISH SETTING SPRAY - First up, was you may well know, this setting spray is possibly my favourite from the drugstore! Now, whilst it by no means compares to my holy grail Urban Decay All Nighter, it's a good setting spray in its own right - and it's so affordable too! The 'mister' is nice and fine and just gently disperses the product onto the face, whilst product itself really helps to set your makeup down well and help it to be more long-lasting - the most important thing of course! It 'melts' everything together, settling any powders and 'powdery' finish on the skin and especially with this formula - makes the skin look super dewy and radiant too! What's not to love?
GLITTER BOMB LIQUID GLITTER EYESHADOWS - These are gorgeous liquid shadows right here. They're kinda comparable to the likes of the Stila Glitter and Glows in that they're liquid eyeshadows, but packed full of glitter too - but of course, at at more affordable price point! And whilst with that, means that they're not as pigmented and 'glittery' as the Stila ones, they're pretty a damn good alternative nonetheless. Like how these glitter shadows tend to be, they're more so the type of liquid shadow that you apply and use more so like a 'topper' rather than a base but follow those guidelines and you'll be onto a winner...
MATTE ME UP LIQUID LIPSTICKS/LIP KITS - Lips-wise, I couldn't do a post like this about Barry M and not mention their awesome matte liquid lipsticks. Ever since trying these out a few years ago (you know, when all the hype around the likes of the Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits was properly huge) I have been obsessed. The Lip Kits are a great deal - you get a matte liquid lip and a matching lip liner too - whilst the individual liquid lipsticks are a great offering if you just want something a little more straightforward. Both have a great colour range - whether it's a nude, bright or bold you're after - and formula-wise, the liquid lipsticks are still one of my favourites out there. They've got a super thin and lightweight consistency and apply onto the lips super glossy but in a matter of seconds dry down to a super matte, powdery finish. Which, as you may know, is my favourite! Whilst they do have that very matte texture, they're not at all drying on the lips and still feel really comfortable and once on, they last super well too! Aside from minimal touch-ups throughout the day, they stay looking basically as first applied - yay!
GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINTS - Then, of course - we come to Nails. Perhaps the thing that Barry M are most well-known and famous for! I definitely couldn't do this post without giving some well-deserved mentions to my favourite, favourite nail polish ranges from them. And first off, I had to shout-out the Gelly Hi-Shines. These have been a staple range in their brand for a good few years now and for good reason too. A classic, creme formula with a super-shiny, almost gel-like finish - and available in such a wide range of gorgeous colours aswell.
MOLTEN METAL NAIL PAINTS - I mean, I couldn't do a post like this without mentioning these polishes - right? They are possibly my favourite product range from Barry M, ever. Super-metallic lacquers - some even with glitter.shimmer running through them to add a little more sparkle and dimension - and again, with such a great range of shades. From your 'standard' metallic shades (golds, bronzes, silver and so on) to more 'colourful' pinks, purples and blues - there really is something for everyone!
