It's already time for the second end-of-the-month update for my Project Pan 2020! As I've said in both my introduction post here and also the first monthly recap for January here - these end of the month posts are basically where I'm going to be detailing how I've got on with each item currently in the project. Have I used and made any more progress on it? Have I maybe even used it up completely? What am I maybe adding in - or taking out? Plus, what other makeup have I used up in the month? Let's get started on February's Edition...
What I've Made Progress On...
- Revolution X Soph Extra Spice Palette - Outside of trying any new palettes this month or maybe picking up other old favourites, I've continued to try and make progress on this beauty right here. And you know what? I think I've done quite well as I've not only hit pan on yet another shade, but I've certainly made deeper dips in a few others too!
- Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer - As I've said before, this is something I use pretty much every time I do my makeup (whether it be to clean up my brows, winged liner or lips or maybe even to add extra coverage on stubborn blemishes). So, whilst I'm still definitely making progress on it, it's more of a slow-burner type thing, if you get what I mean. Hopefully one day I'll finally finish it up completely!
- Collection Lasting Perfection Weightless Foundation - Aside from using anything new or my usual go-to bases, I've really tried to make my way through this one and I actually feel I'm nearing the end - so I doubt it'll be many updates more before this foundation will be moving into the 'What I've Used Up' Section!
- Collection Primed and Ready Invisible Setting Powder - This has remained pretty much the same pressed powder I use every time I do my makeup so this has also definitely seen some more love this month. But once again, it's bound to be a slow and steady process - though I'm sure it won't be long before I pan this one completely!
- Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer - After finishing the CYO Bronzer last month, this was my bronzer of choice this time around and though there's still some way to go before I use it all up - the pan in the middle has certainly got a little bigger! I pretty much only used this bronzer all throughout February - so hopefully if I carry on that way next month, I'll get even closer to that finish line...
- Barry M Lip Scrub in 'Peppermint' - This is another product I use really regularly. In this case, not even just every time I do my makeup - but also aside from that too! I love to give my lips a good scrub not only before applying my makeup, but also occasionally when makeup-less just to get rid of those pesky dead skin cells. So, this is another one that I definitely know I've made progress on this past month and I'm sure a few more months down the line, I'll use it all up completely!
- NYX Slim Lip Pencil in 'Natural' - I added this lip liner into the mix in my first monthly update in January and so far, whilst I haven't used this a tonne this month - I definitely have used it at least a handful of times and have had to sharpen it a couple of times too - which certainly means it's got that little shorter!
- Barry M Dewy Finish Setting Spray - Finally for all the 'success stories' of February - I've definitely got through more of this setting spray this month. This isn't my everyday go-to setting spray (Urban Decay All Nighter - I see you) so it's going to take a little longer to use it all up, but I still reach for it quite a bit for 'lazy makeup days' or early morning shifts at work when I don't need a 'proper' setting spray. I can kinda tell I've used quite a bit of this these past few weeks too, so I'm sure it'll be all gone in no time!
...And What I've Perhaps Not...
- MUA Bronzed Perfection Matte Bronzer - Because I've been so focused on getting through my Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer, I've not touched this one at all this month! However, with me making decent progress on the Solar Powder, I'm sure that'll all change soon...
- theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer - I really got back into this highlighter during the first month of my Project Pan, but this month I've unfortunately drifted away from it once again. I'm determined to get more use out of it again during the following months though!
- MAC Lipstick in 'Patisserie' - This lipstick from MAC once again stood untouched this month! I'm not sure why I'm yet to pick this up yet during my Project Pan, but for some reason I'm just not gravitating towards it. Maybe if this continues, I might end up taking it out and replacing it with another lippie that I can hopefully make more progress on...
What I've Used Up...
- Revolution Conceal and Hydrate Concealer in 'C1' - I finally finished this concealer this month! It's been a real staple of mine ever since I first tried this new Conceal and Hydrate range from Revolution back around September-ish time and I'm so impressed it lasted me this long! I've already got another waiting in the wings as I really don't think I can be without it in my collection now...
- L'Oreal Brow Artiste Plumper in 'Medium/Dark' - My go-to, favourite brow gel! This not only hold my brows in place, but it also adds a nice tint and also gives them extra fullness too (with the added fibres in the formula!). And having naturally-sparse brows, that's a real game changer...
- NYX Epic Ink Liner - This liquid liner always lasts me ages before I need to open a fresh one, but this month my current one finally gave up the ghost! And as you may have seen, I decided to give a completely different liquid liner a try for a change. However, I'm sure I'll come back to this holy grail eventually...
- Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in 'Tiramisu' - I only added this lip liner into the Project Pan mix in my January update, but after a couple of uses whatever lip liner was left fell out of the wood into my sharpener - never to be seen again! So, clearly there really was not much left at all to use up! I can't wait to get started on my new one...
What I'm Adding In...
- Revolution Conceal and Hydrate Foundation in 'F2' - With the Revolution Conceal and Hydrate Concealer getting all used up this month, I thought I'd throw the matching foundation in here! Honestly, I actually don't think I'm too far from finishing this one up either (again, because I love and use it so much!) and hey, it was about time I added a foundation into the Project Pan mix...
- Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer - This face primer is another holy grail of mine that I use pretty regularly and as a result - this current tube has gotta be nearing the end! So, into the Project Pan it goes...
