Polish Pick: Barry M Gelly Nail Paints (Summer 2021 Collection)

It's been a while since I bought any new Barry M Gelly Nail Paints but every Spring/Summer they generally release a new collection - and this year was no exception! I picked up three of the shades to try and for my first test, figured I might aswell apply them all at once...

The first is ‘Pineapple Punch’, a warm, orangey yellow. It’s super bright but with more of a mustardy undertone than a true, canary yellow. Then we have ‘Blue Margarita’, a classic cornflower blue! This is such a pretty tone of blue - I love it. Finally, there’s ‘JalapeƱo’, a mid-toned forest green. It’s much deeper and richer in tone than you’d perhaps expect for a Spring-Summer launch but I personally really like it, especially when it contrasts against the brighter, poppier colours we’ve already got going on!

All shades applied easily, with a full coverage finish in your standard two coats and a pretty quick dry time too. They’ve got your classic Gelly super-shiny, almost gel-like finish - and that’s amplified even more so when you add your favourite top coat over top! All in all, some new nail favourites for the upcoming season...
