It's somehow already the last few days of June and so, it's time once again to run through all of my previous monthly favourites from that particular month (in this case, obviously June) and see just what I'm still loving and using and what I perhaps don't anymore. So, without any further ado - shall we just get started, yeah?
- This year's edition is admittedly not so much a successful one, unfortunately! There are a handful of items that I still like, but nothing that I still use to this day. I guess I still do use the Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in 'Coral Craze' every so often, but not so far this Spring/Summer I don't think. I still like the OGX Coconut Water Range, but have since moved onto my new favourite collection of theirs - the Lavender Collection - and whilst I haven't used the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara for a little while, I know it's one I would happily go back to one day...
- Again, 2016 just wasn't that successful! What is it with June Favourites, huh? I'd still happily be using the Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations Range, but it's long been discontinued (as is always the case with her yearly Summer Ranges) but other than that, there's not really much else here that I still own or use regularly. I still whack out my Collection Speedy Highlighter occasionally if I'm after a good, cream highlighter stick but that's about it!
- Thankfully, this edition from 2017 seems to have stood the test of time at least a little better. Sure, there's still items I don't still use or even just have kicking around in my collection to his day, but there are a good handful of things that I do still really love! Barry M's Coconut Infusion Nail Paints remain one of my favourite formulas (though I think they might have now discontinued them - boo!), my Wet Brush is still my favourite hairbrush and Dove's DermaSpa Summer Revived Gradual Self-Tan remains my go-to for if I want to get my tan on. I even still enjoy playing around with my L'Oreal Inflalible Eye Paints if I want a liquid shadow as a base or quick look, or even to use for a cut crease seeing as their doe-foot applicator makes them perfect for just that! So, whilst pretty much everything else aren't so much my go-to's nowadays - 2017 was definitely much more successful for my June Faves...
- So, then we come to this time, last year - 2018! And unlike what is typically the case with these types of posts so far, this might be seen as one of the least successful as there's only really one collection of products that I still adore to this day. However, as I love and use them so damn much - I'd say this is possibly the most triumphant edition of June Faves of the lot! Introducing - the Soph X Revolution Extra Spice Palette. I can't believe it's been a whole year since this was released! This is definitely one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes of all time. So affordable, but such amazing quality and such gorgeous colours too. Her matching Soph Nude Lipsticks are also still go-to's of mine if I want a nude lip in a traditional bullet lip format! So, like I said, whilst you may at first see this as a less-successful round of favourites - the fact that I have come to love this collection so much (the palette especially so), I think we can conclude that this is most definitely not the case...
