It's that time again - my 'Where Are They Now?' Favourites! A.K.A. giving a run-down of all of my previous monthly beauty favourites from that particular month - and this time, it is of course the October Edition! Wanna know everything I was loving this time one, two, three and four years ago - and whether I still love or even still own them anymore? Just keep on reading...
- Starting off, as usual, with 2015 - and as has kinda become a running theme with this first edition, there really aren't many products in there that I still use, love or even own anymore unfortunately! Apart from the two nail-related inclusions - the Maybelline Super Stay Nail Polishes and Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in 'Sparkling Amethyst' - that's about it!
- Again, 2016 in retrospect is actually not so much of a successful one either! I still occasionally use and enjoy items from the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Autumn '16 Range (though of course, the brand is now completely discontinued and so it's more so any items I have left kicking around in my collection!) and of course, I still enjoy a Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask every now and again when I fancy a good sheet mask but apart from those, there's nothing else in this edition that's still in my rotation at all. I might still pick up my Lee Stafford Dehumidifier Spray every now and then if I feel my hair is/might start looking a little frizzy but honestly nowadays, ever since converting to my GHD Stylers a few years back (when this original post was published I hadn't tried them just yet) I really haven't had as much issue with my hair - which is amazing, of course!
- Ahh, things finally seem to start getting a little more fortunate in terms of long-term favourites! 2017 was definitely full of more 'success stories', thankfully. Superdrug's Naturally Radiant Glycolic Cleansing Pads remain a staple in my daily skincare routine as a great, chemical exfoliant and the two liquid lipstick inclusions - Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Paints and the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Inks - are still two go-to formulas of mine and the colours I featured in this post are actually still go-to shades aswell! I mean, I reckon I'd even still be thoroughly enjoying the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Lash Mascara too if they were still making it, as I remember really enjoying it at the time!
- And with that we now come to this time, last year - 2018! This one's surely gotta be the most positive edition of them all, considering all of these products were firm favourites of mine only 12 months earlier? Well, for this edition I'd certainly agree - this is possibly the most successful of them all from last year! Aside from the Revolution Mascara (which I naturally don't own anymore but even so, didn't really end up wishing to repurchase) - there isn't one item in this post that I don't love, use or own anymore. Perhaps the NYX Glitter Goals Liquid Shadow in 'Poppy Fields' isn't one I reach for as much, but I still really like it and if anything, doing this post has just reminded me that I really need to get more use out it - especially now we're into Autumn!
