The end of July is here already and so, it's time to talk trough everything beauty-wise that I've discovered (or perhaps have simply been using a lot) and loving throughout the past month! It's a bit of a smaller bunch of products this time round, but it's a proper good bunch of products at the same time. They're all 'super-obsessed-with'-type favourites, if you know what I mean - let me assure you...
BARRY M DEWY FINISH SETTING SPRAY - Makeup-wise, this setting spray just had to be included in this line-up as I have been loving it pretty much all month long. If I haven't been suing my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (which admittedly, I do use a lot of the time, bit there's still days when I don't want or maybe don't need to) I have been all over this one by Barry M. This is probably my favourite drugstore setting spray I've tried. No, it doesn't necessarily beat my beloved All Nighter, but it does a sure fire good job and I still stand by the fact that in terms of more affordable alternatives - this is a rather good one. The mist is nice and super-fine, the scent is not too overpowering or offensive and I do find it to both help make the finish of my makeup really nice and dewy (as the name suggests) and - most importantly - help it last almost impeccably throughput the day/night too. What's not to love?
REVOLUTION FOREVER FLAWLESS PALETTE IN 'DECADENT' - An eyeshadow palette I tried in July and have been enjoying ever since is this awesome one from Revolution! Will I ever try a palette of theirs that I don't like? Definitely not anytime soon as this one is really rather good too! A gorgeous selection of rich, kinda rosey-based warm tones. I thought I'd change things up momentarily from the more colourful palettes I've been testing recently and I'm glad I did as this is a great, more neutral option! The quality is just as great as I've come to expect from Revolution shadow palettes, especially considering how affordable they are and though it is a more neutral-based colour selection, I still find it versatile enough to do a decent variety of looks with!
REVOLUTION RELOADED PALETTES IN 'HYPNOTIC', 'RED ALERT' AND 'DEEP DIVE' - Here's another trio of palettes - also from Revolution - that I found, tried and loved in July! I really like their 'Reloaded' Range pretty much as a whole. They're just £4, come in a tonne of different colour stories and are pretty good quality considering they're under a fiver each! And honestly, these three are no different. 'Hyonotic' is a stunning neutral selection with a pop of coral thrown in, 'Red Alert' is crammed full of tonnes of super-pretty reds, pinks, oranges and purples and 'Deep Dive' (as the name suggests) is kinda aqua-inspired with pops of blue and green! All lovely colour schemes that I've been thoroughly enjoying playing around with and the quality of all three is just awesome too. The shadows blend like a dream, are decently pigmented and the shimmers are pretty intense and foiled-like aswell!
REVOLUTION MATTE LIP LIQUID LIPSTICKS IN 'BRUNCH' AND 'HEART RACE' - I tried a couple of these new matte liquid lipsticks from Revolutions 'Lip Boutique' a little while ago and loved them, so naturally, I picked up a few other colours and have been really liking them so far! My favourites right now are probably these two - 'Brunch', a really pretty browney-nude that's not too light or too dark for my liking and 'Heart Race', a muted light pink. Both the exact same great formula as I've come to expect and love from this range - goes on quite liquidy, soon dries down to a powdery-matte finish and lasts pretty well over the day/night with minimal touch-up's needed - and these colour are certainly new favourites of mine!
PRIMARK LUXURY FAUX MINK LASHES IN 'QUEEN' - I've worn these lashes a couple of times throughout July and have really enjoyed doing so - so knew they had to be featured here! These lashes are just £4 - yep, four pounds! - and they're so, so good too. They're super fluffy and 3D-like and just so pretty! They're long and voluminous but feel so lightweight to wear and used with my fave DUO Lash Glue, feel really comfortable and last on my eye all night long! I can't believe you can get these types of lashes that look so expensive and like many high-end lash brands, from Primark and for such a steal of a price-point!
BARRY M GELLY NAIL PAINT IN 'GREEN BERRY' - This nail colour has definitely been a firm favourite of mine in July! The most gorgeous, bright teal green that in my opinion, is super-Summery and just ideal for this time of year! As always with the Gelly Nail Paints from Barry M, it's fully opaque in two coats, dries down quickly and has a super-glossy, gel-like finish - even before I layer over my regular top coat! I just know I'll be getting even more use out of this one before the Summer's out...
SOAP AND GLORY NAUGHTY BUT SPICE 'BEST WASHES' SPICED BODY WASH - Finally, a bodycare favourite from this month! We had a proper heatwave during this month and so, baths were out of the equation for a little while. I needed something to use in the shower, so I had a rummage about in my collection as I knew there'd likely be something I had already which would be perfect - and I came across this one. I picked this up as part of a gift set in last year's Christmas sales, used it a couple times in the bath and really liked it - and now, I guess I really like using it as a shower gel too! It's got a more creamy texture so cleanses, whilst also leaving the skin feeling really hydrated and soft at the same time. Admittedly, the sweet, slightly spicy scent isn't really typical for this time of year, but I still really like it so I can easily let it slide...
So, there we have it - everything beauty-wise I've found or simply been obsessed with throughout the month of July! A smaller selection of products, but all proper good'un's! A lot of awesome makeup too. I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what you've been loving this month down in the comments below!
