It's already that time again to talk through all of my previous monthly favourites from that particular month - so here we have September of course! Wanna know everything I was loving this time one, two, three and four years ago - and whether I still love or even still own them anymore? Just keep reading...
- Starting off with 2015, I have to admit that this edition didn't end up being that impressive, long-term. Boo! Aside from the Barry M and Maybelline Nail Polishes and a couple of the Zoeva Brushes there really isn't much else that I still use or even own to this day. I guess four years on, I've kinda moved onto better things...
- Moving onto a year later with 2016, I'd say it was at least a little more successful in terms of finding firm favourites as whilst there's still a good few which I no longer use or won, there are at definitely a handful which are - yay! Barry's M Dewy Makeup Setting Spray remains one of, if not my favourite drugstore setting spray and we all know how obsessed I am with the Collection Primed and Ready Invisible Setting Powder - it's most definitely my go-to when it comes to a good, translucent pressed powder. So, certainly a couple of good'uns in this one at least...
- September 2017 was a pretty good month for favourites - I obviously tried the original Revolution X Soph Eyeshadow Palette and also her Highligher Palette for the very first time! And of course, I soon fell in love with both of them - so they were definite long-term success stories! Admittedly, everything else in this edition weren't so much so - apart from the Real Techniques Ultimate Eye Set and the Maybelline Super Stay Nail Polishes (and perhaps the Nip + Fab Spot Fix when I do occasionally have the odd breakout) but just for those two awesome Soph collaborations - I'd say this month was a good'un for sure...
- Finally, we come to this time last year - September 2018! And actually, this was possibly the most successful edition of them all - pretty much everything here I still love and use regularly! Even with a couple which aren't in my rotation at the moment, likely due to me using them all up (the Sanctuary Chilli Mango and Tonka Bean Body Scrub and the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara) I still really love and would use/rebuy them again and as for everything else - there are some firm favourites in there. From the Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation to the Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in 'Molten Rose Gold' to the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Day and Night Creams and pretty much everything else included. Love, love, LOVE!
