September: The Love List

It's the end of September (wow) and believe it or not, it's time for another round-up of everything, beauty-wise, that I''ve been loving these past few weeks. And you know what? There's a real good collection of products this month - I've found a lot of new holy grails, for sure. So without any further ado, let's get started...

REVOLUTION CONCEAL AND DEFINE FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION IN 'F1' - Starting off with what has to be my favourite, favourite new find from this month - this brand new foundation from Revolution. Ever since coming out with the Conceal and Define Concealer, everyone has been praying that a matching foundation would quickly follow and at last - here it is. I quickly picked up my shade to try and oh my, I was not disappointed. The massive doe foot applicator means you can quite literally just swipe the product on and it quickly blends out (either with a dampened sponge or buffing brush) to a medium-full coverage, demi-matte, super smooth and almost blurred-like finish. At first, it's not full-full coverage but build it up and it definitely reaches that level (and it layers up beautifully too). It's more matte than I'm used to, but not too matte and definitely not drying or cakey in anyway and despite the full coverage, it feels super lightweight on my skin. Once on and set, it lasts impeccably throughout the day and looks basically the same as I first applied it right up until when I come to take it off. All in all, this is my new favourite, go-to, holy grail foundation and I really cannot see myself using anything else now for a long time to come...

REVOLUTION CONCEAL AND DEFINE SUPERSIZE CONCEALER IN 'F1' - Don't get me wrong, I've been using this concealer pretty consistently since first trying it back when it launched at the start of the year, but I feel the release of the foundation - and with that, a bigger tube of the concealer too - has just ignited my love for it even more so. Especially as it pairs so beautifully with the foundation (as I suppose you would expect it to). The two together just make the perfect combination and like the foundation, I feel like I will not be straying from this for a while!

MAYBELLINE MASTER CHROME METALLIC HIGHLIGHTER IN 'MOLTEN ROSE GOLD' - Another month, another awesome highlighter! This time, I finally got my hands on one of the infamous Master Chromes from Maybelline. I've been wanting to get my hands on one for so, so long but after waiting for them to finally drop in the UK, when they finally did, they didn't have the best shade range for my skin-tone. However, I'd always heard amazing things about one shade in particular - 'Molten Rose Gold' - and from what I could see, it looked to be a pretty good colour for me. So, when I spotted it in Superdrug not too long ago, I did not hesitate to pick it up - and you know what? I am so glad I did.

MAYBELLINE THE FALSIES MASCARA - Something that I used to adore and have gone back to at last this month - remember this guy? Back in the day, I was obsessed with this mascara - as was pretty much everyone else, I feel - but over time, as it usually goes, I found new favourites and this one got left behind. However, a while ago I saw this being promoted in Boots again and quickly picked one up 'for old time's sake' and all that jazz and you know what? I can see why I used to love it so much. This gives my lashes so much volume and length and thickens them, whilst fanning them out nicely too. The formula, though not technically 'waterproof', doesn't smudge, flake or move in anyway throughout the day and my lashes stay as lifted and full-on as they did when I first applied it too.

BARRY M MOLTEN METAL NAIL PAINT IN 'PINK LUXE' - You all know I love the Molten Metal Nail Paints from Barry M, so it's natural that whenever a new collection of shades drop, they're bound to catch my eye and of the latest additions, this shade in particular just had to be mine. A gorgeous rose gold with a deep magenta base - this may look typically copper at first (and much like other polishes I own already), but placed under certain lights you get flashes of rich purple and it just looks stunning. Because of this, I especially feel like it has this Autumnal-type vibe to it, which is great for the upcoming season of course and I can't wait to get even more use out of it!

BEING BY SANCTUARY SPA CHILLI MANGO AND TONKA BEAN BODY SCRUB - Moving away from Makeup, I have a body scrub that I've really been enjoying using recently. Usually, I am all about the body scrubs from Soap and Glory, but I actually fancied a change this time when mine ran out and so I picked up this one instead. And actually, I have been rather impressed. Though very much 'scrubby' enough, it's not at all harsh on my skin and doesn't aggravate it in anyway. It leaves my skin feeling super-smooth and really gets the job done well and I mean - what more can you ask for? Plus, it smells delicious too...

SUPERDRUG NATURALLY RADIANT DAY AND NIGHT CREAMS - You might remember that a while ago, I fell in love with the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Cleansing Pads. A complete dupe for the same thing by Nip + Fab - but for a fraction of the price - they are awesome and so, I was after trying out more from the same Superdrug own-brand range. Then, my current day and night creams I was currently using at the time finished and I was after a new set, so I picked up the duo from that same range and I am so glad I gave them a go. Both super rich and nourishing on my skin, but at the same time not at all heavy-feeling and sink into my skin in no time at all. The day cream works great under makeup (a deal-breaker for me) and the night cream leaves my skin feeling super refreshed and recharged come the next morning when I apply it before bed. Neither have irritated my sensitive skin at all so far and all in all - I am really loving them both.

AUSSIE 3 MINUTE MIRACLE COLOUR DEEP TREATMENT - Last, but certainly by no means least - we have a deep conditioner. I've been a big, big fan of the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle for years now but in recent years I've kind of stepped away from it a little I guess. Until now, that is. I started using a new variety - the 'Colour' Edition - and so far, I have been loving it. With now very much fully-bleached blonde hair, I like to try and keep it in best condition possible and this I feel has really been helping lately to do that. Super thick and rich, left on for my hair as long as I can it leaves it feeling and looking so much healthier, and more soft, smooth and shiny. The scent, as always from Aussie, is delicious so also makes your hair smell pretty damn good too.

So, that's everything I've been loving in the month of September! Like I said, definitely a handful of new go-to's that I can see myself using on the regular for a long, long time to come. If you haven't tried any out yourself - give them a go! You certainly won't be disappointed...
