Yes, I'm popping back in for the second time today but as you can probably guess, it's for good reason. It's the 31st of December - and that not only means this is the last day of #DitsyDecember (and I really like to round the series up nicely before January starts tomorrow!) it also means, it's New Year's Eve! So, I really wanted to wish you all a very happy, fun and safe night tonight - whatever you may be up to - and also a very Happy New Year! I cannot believe we are already at the end of #DitsyDecember and 2019 as a whole - just where has the time gone, eh? Thank you so, so much once again for all of the love and support round these parts this year. Whether it was reading, sharing or commenting on a post or maybe interacting with me elsewhere - it really does mean a lot to me! Here's to a brand new year, fresh start and hopefully a good (or maybe better, depending on how your 2019 went) 12 months ahead. Some Christmas Baking (Again!) #DitsyDecember

Christmas Baking has become quite a tradition in #DitsyDecember! From pretty gingerbread biscuits to cute mini Christmas puddings to some classic Brookies this time last year - I just seem to love getting my baking hat on during the festive season! All of the previous recipes came from an 'influencer' in some way, shape or form but this time round, I thought I'd just have a good ol' browse of BBC Good Food and came across this pretty yummy-sounding recipe! A classic cookie, but with a festive, fruity twist... 

Merry Christmas From Dainty Ditsy! (1,000th Post!) #DitsyDecember

MERRY CHRISTMAS! It's the 25th December - a.k.a. The Big Day itself - and whilst I'm not dropping a 'regular' #DitsyDecember post today (as is per for Christmas Day during this series), I just have to come in and wish you all a super happy Christmas! All pre-written obviously as I'm again having some much-needed time offline over Christmas but with the whole deal of me posting every single day throughout December, I just couldn't miss the day itself! Thank you again for all of your love and support throughout this year's #DitsyDecember (and it's not even over just yet) and I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed putting it all together. I also think this year's is perhaps even more exciting that usual as not only is it Christmas, it's also worked out to be my 1,000th post on this blog on Christmas Day! Wow. I cannot quite believe I've posted that many times on Dainty Ditsy. Next year in August will be the 6th Birthday of Dainty Ditsy (time really does fly, eh) and to still be doing it and loving it now really is something. And I was so happy when I noticed it would coincide so nicely with a more personal post like this so I just had to give it a mention!

If you're an avid watcher of YouTube, December likely means one thing - Vlogmas! The series where people vlog and upload every single day (or maybe every couple of days or every week) - I love it! And though I usually start off trying to watch as many people as I can, as the month goes on I tend to end up with my select few which I look forward to and religiously watch every upload of. HELLO BLOGMAS! #DitsyDecember

It's the 30th of November, which can only mean one thing round these parts - it's nearly time for Blogmas, a.k.a. #DitsyDecember! For the sixth year running (how crazy is that?!), I am once again going to post every single day on Dainty Ditsy, from the 1st of December right up to the 31st - and as is tradition, here I am the day before the month starts, introducing it! From makeup tips to hauls; baking to festive TAGs and much, much more - as always there's going to be a real mix of content and as I mentioned, they'll be something new round these parts every single day at 9am! I just love doing this series every single year and every time it comes around, I have a think about whether I want to commit to it once again but I just can't not do it. It's a tradition - right? Not only that, I also love seeing what everyone else is sharing for Blogmas each year too and just generally find the whole thing so super festive and fun. I'm fairly well prepared (as I always try to before December even begins) and I'm hoping it'll run as smoothly as it has in previous years.
