Autumn Nail Polish Picks...

Remember around this time last year when I gave you all a little rundown of some nail polishes that are pretty darn awesome for the upcoming Autumn? Well, with that season well on its way (or perhaps we're already kinda in it now? Who knows) I thought I might aswell do the same sort of thing, but of course, with a selection of shades that I feel will be my go-to's this time around. Yes, there are some which repeat as they're old faves but there's also a few newbies in here too so I guess we should just get started, yeah?

BARRY M GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINT IN 'PEANUT BUTTER' - Starting off with a perhaps less 'exciting' colour, I know, but if a good nude polish for the Autumn is what you're after - cheek this one out. The warm, orangey tone kinda gives that Autumnal vibe (if you know what I mean) and on the nails it just looks so chic and goes with anything and everything too. SEE IT IN ACTION HERE.

MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY 7 DAY NAIL POLISH IN 'DEEP RED' - A classic, I know, but I just had to throw this one in here anyway. You cannot go wrong with a good deep, cranberry red polish when Autumn is in the air and this one in particular is a real good'un. It applies nearly opaque in one coat, but give it two and you've got yourself a gorgeous rich red colour that's super glossy and shiny and also lasts rather well on the nails too. BARRY M COCONUT INFUSION NAIL PAINT IN 'POPSICLE' - I love wearing pink on my nails all year long, as I'm sure you all well know, but when Autumn hits I especially lean towards the deeper, richer pinky hues and this one is definitely one of them. It's a stunning, raspberry pink and though I adore this kind of shade no matter what time of year, when the weather starts to turn cooler, I love it even more so. Again, you could easily get away with just one layer of this colour, but I personally do enjoy lacquering up with an extra coat, just to ensure things really are fully opaque everywhere. BARRY M MOLTEN METAL NAIL PAINT IN 'PINK LUXE' - The first of many Molten Metal Nail Paints in this post - trust me - comes from my most recent shade addition to my collection. I included ti here as though it is very much pink-based, it's got this rich, purple background colour that shines through and depending on how the light catches it, sometimes this colour has much more of a deeper, berry-like finish that to me, screams 'Autumn'. So, if something more shimmery and metallic-like is your kinda thang - check this colour out! SEE IT IN ACTION HERE.

BARRY M MOLTEN METAL NAIL PAINT IN 'COPPER MINE' - You know that I couldn't do this post without including something copper-toned. It's one of my favourite kinds of colours to wear on my nails and combined with the fact that the Autumnal season just calls out for those kind of warm, rusty colours - I just had to. I have so many recommendations, but this one - also from the Barry M Molten Metal Range - is perhaps one of favourites. A true, rich copper with a gorgeous, sheeney, metallic finish that catches the light beautifully - what more could you want? SEE IT IN ACTION HERE.

MAYBELLINE SUPERSTAY 7 DAY NAIL POLISH IN 'BERRY STAIN' - Moving towards the Purples - a colour family I definitely get a lot of use out of during the Autumn months -  and starting off with this beauty that I've had in my collection for a few years now and love getting my use out of every single Autumn/Winter. This is your classic, berry nail polish that's not too red, nor too purple - just that perfect in-between, yanno? You just cannot go wrong with a shade like this fr the cooler months and this one is a pretty good one, if you ask me. Not only is the shade spot-on, the formula applies fully opaque in two coats and has such a shiny, gel-like finish too - what more could you want?

MAYBELLINE COLOR SHOW NAIL POLISH IN 'CRIMSON FLUSH' - If you're after a purple hue, but something that's a little more muted - check this colour out. This is a stunning, mid-toned, pinky-purpley mauve that's deep enough to give it that Autumnal vibe, but not so much so that it's as dark and intense as some of the other offerings in this post. It's a nice in-between type of colour and for me, the dusky undertone it has just screams 'Autumn'. SEE IT IN ACTION HERE.

BARRY M MOLTEN METAL NAIL PAINT IN 'PURPLE FROST' - I feel like I will gravitate towards this shade a hell of a lot this season, having discovered - and fell in love with it - towards the end of last year. Not only is this a gorgeous, deep purple - it's also got a bit of a twist to it. As the name suggests, this has a sheen-ey, metallic formula and also, unlike many other 'Molten Metal' Nail Paints, it has pretty, silver glitter flecks running throughout the formula too. It kinda doubles up as a standalone polish and a glitter topper in one and combined with the stunning, very Autumnal-like hue, it's a winner... SEE IT IN ACTION HERE.

BARRY M GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINT IN 'MATCHA' - Green isn't always a colour I gravitate towards when it comes to my nails, but if there's one time of year when I do like to experiment with it a little more - it's usually Autumn. Last year, I added this new shade at the time to my stash and really enjoyed it, so cannot wait to crack it back out again this time around. A rich, olive green, it's surprisingly flattering on the nails and rather chic and sophisticated-looking too, I feel. It's the kind of colour that makes an impact, but in a little more understated kind of way and I really like that. It's also completely different to anything else in my collection and far away from my usual go-to colours too - which is always a bonus, right? SEE IT IN ACTION HERE.

BARRY M GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINT IN 'BLUE JADE' - Again, this colour was another that I tried out around this time last year in the run-to towards Autumn and am very much looking forward to wearing on my nails all over again this year. This is more of a deep blue, though not so deep as to venture into the 'navy' side of things, if you know what I mean. Much like 'Matcha', it's got that same, kinda dusky undertone that gives it impact, yet a super-chic finish at the same time and I just adore how this one looks on the nails. Again, I personally like to stick to my standard two coats, but you can kinda get away with one coat of this as it's so highly-pigmented and as always with the Gelly Nail Paints, the finish is so super shiny aswell.
